| The following guns were used in the movie Bad Boys II Bad Boys II (2003) Glock 17/19Detective Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) carries a 2nd Gen Glock 19 and a 3rd Gen Glock 17 as his standard weapons, both with chrome slides. Syd (Gabrielle Union) later takes one of these pistols during the mission to rescue her in Cuba to defend herself as they're making their escape, and uses it to set off a land mine at Guantanamo Bay, killing one of Tapia's cronies. Burnett then uses another Glock 17 to dispatch Tapia with a headshot. Sig Sauer P226Detective Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) carries a Sig Sauer P226 pistol as his standard sidearm. Like Lowrey's Glocks, Burnett's pistol is also black with a silver slide. One of Tapia's cronies can also be seen wielding an all-black P226 during the standoff at Guantanamo Bay near the end of the film. Factory Black (K-Kote) Sig P226 - 9mm. This is a real movie gun and has appeared in several motion pictures. The top of the barrel near the ejection port is beveled at a downward slope, far more than a standard P226. this is one of the many small modifications done to a real pistol so that it will cycle full flash motion picture blanks. Burnett with his Sig Sauer P226. Taurus Raging BullDuring the raid on the KKK rally, one of the members not wearing robes and with tattoos all over his arms manages to catch Burnett off-guard and holds a Taurus Raging Bull revolver to his head, taunting him and Lowrey until he's finally killed with a head shot from one of Lowrey's Glocks. H&K SL8During the shootout at the KKK rally, one of the TNT members can be seen using a Heckler & Koch SL8 sniper rifle fitted with a night vision scope and tactical flashlight, using it to take out a KKK member attempting to shoot Lowrey from behind. A TNT member with a Heckler & Koch SL8 takes aim. Glock 36At the beginning of and during the freeway chase scene, Syd can be seen using a Glock 36 pistol to defend herself from the Haitian gang members. Syd defends herself with a Glock 36. AKMNumerous AKM's appear in the film, being weilded by Cuban Army soldiers responding to the attack on Tapia's mansion. Tito Vargas (Reynaldo A. Gallegos) can be seen wielding an AKM too, using it to help the protagonists escape Tapia's mansion during "plan B". Burnett with a H&K G36C (foreground), and Tito with an AKM (background). AKMSUSeveral of the Haitian gang members can be seen brandishing AKMSU carbines during the freeway chase scene, and again when Burnett and Lowrey raid their hideout. FN FALAnother weapon used by the Haitian gang members is an FN FAL carbine, seen during the intersection shootout and freeway chase scenes by "Blondie Dreds" (Kiko Ellsworth). The FAL used is an American Variant made by DSArms in Lake Barrington, IL, called the SA58. Like the FN FAL, The SA58 comes in many shapes and sizes and can easily be modified with different stocks, sights, etc., but in this particular scene it is a "Tactical Carbine OSW", which is a select-fire, super-short carbine (12" barrel with carbine handguard) with a para-style side-folding stock and a L4A2 NATO Bren 30-round magazine. Like the Law Enforcement/Military-only version of the SA58 OSW, the one used in the movie is select-fire. Unlike the version offered by DS Arms, the one in the movie does not have an attached carry-handle, a vertical pistol-grip installed on a hardpoint (picatinny rails) on the handguard, nor does it use any brand of holo-sight/red-dot reticle (like the EOTECH for example); instead, it uses standard para-style "rear-eared" iron peep-sights. Two Traditional FN FAL's; Chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Win. Top - Fixed Stock, Bottom - Para-Trooper Configuration. The Haitian "Blondie Dreds" fires an FN FAL carbine with 30 round magazine. M16A2During the shootout between the Haitian gang members and the police in the intersection, several officers are seen engaging the Haitians with M16A2 rifles retrieved from the trunks of their patrol cars. They are also seen being used by U.S. Military personnel responding to the standoff situation at the perimeter of the Guantanamo Bay naval base. A Police Officer fires an M16A2. U.S. military personnel armed with M16A2s. H&K UMPDuring the freeway chase scene, Mike Lowrey takes out an H&K UMP from the back seat of his Ferrari. At one point he makes the mistake of letting Burnett fire it, and ends up paying for it when Burnett accidentally riddles the dashboard of the sports car with bullets. Mike fires an H&K UMP out the window of his Ferrari. Burnett hangs out the window of Lowrey's Ferrari, during the freeway chase firing a H&K UMP. Serbu Super Shorty 9During the shootout between the Haitian gang members and the police in the intersection, one of the gang members shoots out the rear window of Syd's SUV, to which she responds by drawing a Serbu Super Shorty shotgun fitted with a vertical foregrip and gives the luckless Haitian a point-blank blast. Mk 2 Hand GrenadeWhen Lowrey and Burnett are getting chewed out in Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano)'s office following the freeway chase, a Mk 2 hand grenade can be seen sitting on his desk, though is likely inert or a replica. A Mk 2 hand grenade replica sits on Captain Howard's desk. Colt AnacondaWhen Roberto is telling Tapia about the freeway chase, Tapia can be seen using a Colt Anaconda to shoot rats infesting his Miami home. Tapia fires a Colt Anaconda at the rats eating his money. Micro UziDuring the shootout with Tapia's cronies during the coroner truck chase, one of Tapia's cronies can be seen letting loose with a Micro Uzi. One of Tapia's cronies unloads with a Micro Uzi. TEC-DC9During the shootout with Tapia's cronies during the coroner truck chase, one of Tapia's cronies can be seen letting loose with an Intratec TEC-DC9. One of Tapis's cronies lets loose with a TEC-DC9. H&K MP5KDuring the shootout with Tapia's cronies during the coroner truck chase, one of Tapia's cronies can be seen letting loose with an H&K MP5K. One of Tapia's cronies fires a H&K MP5K It appears to be the early metal receiver "0-1-2" of the first model MP5K.
Type 69 RPG LauncherDuring the rescue mission in Cuba, the Cuban Army arrives to complicate matters, including at least one Type 69 RPG team. It differs from the Russian RPG-7, most notably that the soldier firing it has to grab one handle above the launcher and one below - indicative of the Type 69 (the Chinese copy of the RPG-7). A Cuban soldier with an Type 69 RPG launcher. DShKAmong the weapons used by the Cuban Army soldiers that arrive at the mansion during the rescue mission are several DShK heavy machine guns mounted on the back of a truck. A Cuban soldier on a DShK heavy machine gun. SIG P230The main villain of the film, Johnny Tapia (Jordi Mollà) keeps a silver Sig-Sauer P230 with pearl grips in his bedroom in his Miami home. We first see the weapon when a pair of prostitutes are goofing off with it and accidentally fire it and shatter a vase, much to Tapia's annoyance. He is also seen killing Roberto (Jon Seda) with it, and using it during the raid on his Miami home which leads to Syd being taken hostage. Beretta InoxA pair of Beretta Inox pistols make several appearances in the film. Curiously, they appear in the hands of different users at different points throughout the film; first in the hands of Haitian gang members when Lowrey and Burnett raid their hideout, then again being brandished akimbo-style by a drunk Alexei (Peter Stormare) when he comes to Tapia's Miami home looking for revenge. One of Tapia's cronies can also be seen with one when fighting with Lowrey onboard the monorail train following the coroner truck chase. A Haitian with a Beretta Inox. One of Tapia's cronies wields a Beretta Inox while fighting with Lowrey aboard a monorail train (the Beretta in this picture is actually one of the flashbulb-firing "non guns" that are available from International Studio Services; see http://www.issprops.com/Weapons/NonGunsGallery/tabid/131/AlbumID/460-77/Default.aspx). H&K G36CDuring the rescue mission in Cuba, Burnett can be seen using an H&K G36C fitted with an Aimpoint Reddot as his main weapon during the mission. A DEA agent can also be seen using one briefly during the freeway chase scene. Burnett firing an H&K G36C. H&K MP5SDMike Lowrey is seen using an H&K MP5SD during the Cuban rescue mission. It is also fitted with an Aimpoint Red-dot sight and a tactical flashlight under the barrel. Several members of the Miami P.D. SWAT team that storms the Spanish Palms Mortuary can also be seen armed with similarly-equipped MP5SD's, albeit without the red-dot sight. Lowrey wielding an MP5SD. H&K MP5A2During the raid on the Spanish Palms Mortuary, Miami PD SWAT team members can be seen toting H&K MP5A2's fitted with tactical flashlights mounted in the foregrip under the barrel. SWAT team members armed with MP5A2s. Steyr SPPDuring the rescue mission in Cuba and the final standoff of the film, Tapia can be seen brandishing a Steyr SPP, a variant of the Steyr TMP machine pistol with the foregrip removed. Another goof is that this weapon is supposed to be semi-auto only, but Tapia can be clearly seen letting loose full auto bursts from the weapon. In some countries, other than the U.S., it is easier to convert commercially available Semi-Auto weapons into full auto guns (with the proper paperwork). Since it is difficult to build full auto guns in the US after 1986, most full auto versions of domestic and international weapons are either police samples or military contracts. In the context of this movie, however, since the character is a drug dealer, one can assume he acquired an illegally converted pistol from the black market. Tapia with a Steyr SSP.
Unknown Double-Barreled ShotgunDuring the rescue mission in Cuba, Tapia's mother Donna Maria Tapia (Gloria Irizarry) attacks the rescuers with a double-barreled shotgun of unknown make and model though is knocked out by one of the rescuers when she runs out of ammunition. M240 Machine GunIn the scene where drug runners in a 'go-fast' speedboat are being pursued by Miami P.D. and U.S. Coast Guard helicopters, the MH-68A Stingray helicopters are armed with door-mounted M240 machine guns, which are ultimately used to end the chase by shooting up the boat's engine. A U.S Coast Guard helicopter crewman fires an M240 machine gun from a helicopter. CAR-15There are two appearances of a CAR-15 carbine in the film, both in the hands of drug runners in a 'go fast' speedboat. It is not a Colt Commando, but a third party manufacturer of a CAR-15 look-a-like. The barrel is a full length 11.5"" with a fake 5.5" XM177 style flash hider welded on the end. The flash hider on these CAR-15 clones are the same diameter as the A1 "birdcage" flash hider, so that the M7 bayonet can still slip over the front and lock into the bayonet lug. The real CAR-15, XM177 series of carbines have flash hiders/sound suppressors that are too large for the bayonet ring. A drug runner with a CAR-15 . M4A1 carbineThe M4A1 carbine makes several appearances as well; first in the hands of TNT members waiting for the signal to move in on the Klu Klux Klan members at the start of the film, then among the weapons used by the rescue team during the mission in Cuba. As is the norm with M4's in movies, they're tricked out with varying accessories, including Aim Point Reddots, Surefire M500AB foregrips, and laser pointers. A TNT member with an M4A1 carbine. A TNT member with an M4A1 carbine. Remington 870A silver Remington 870 shotgun with black foregrip and stock and a high-capacity magazine tube makes two appearances in the film. The distinct silver finish is specific to the "Marine Magnum" special edition of Remington 870 shotguns. Like the Beretta Inox pistols mentioned above, this distinctive weapon also changes owners during the course of the film; first used by a KKK member intent on shooting Burnett from behind (leading to the incident where Burnett gets shot in the rear by Lowrey by accident), and again as the first weapon fired by the Haitian gang members in the raid on their hideout. A KKK member armed with a Remington 870 Marine Magnum before being shot. A Haitian fires a Remington 870. M136 AT4At the onset of the rescue mission, one member of the team pops up from a tunnel dug beneath Tapia's Cuban mansion and uses an M136 AT4 rocket launcher to destroy the security shed. A member of TNT fires an M136 AT4. M249 SAWAnother weapon used during the Cuban rescue mission is a 'paratrooper' version of the M249 SAW, fitted with a telescoping stock and shorter barrel. A TNT member fires an M249 SAW.
