Robert Ross was a Soviet actor of African enticy. He appeared in roles of African characters in several Soviet movies, notably as Neb in The Mysterious Island (Tainstvennyy ostrov) (1941) and as the bishop in Black Sun (Chyornoye solntse) (1970).
