Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, The
The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! is the feature film adaptation of the cult TV series Police Squad!. Leslie Nielsen reprises his role as the bumbling Lt. Frank Drebin. The film's cast includes George Kennedy, O.J. Simpson, Priscilla Presley, and Ricardo Montalban. The film was co-written and directed by David Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and Jerry Zucker, the same team who made the original Airplane!. Two sequels would follow: The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear and The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult.

Revolvers
Colt Detective Special
Lt. Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) uses a Colt Detective Special as his sidearm in the film.

We also see a full ejector shroud model with the longer sight as the sidearm of Capt. Ed Hocken (George Kennedy). Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban) shows off his mind control watch to his co-conspirator Pahpschmir, in which his assistant draws a full shroud Detective Special and tries to fire it at him, and puts the gun to her own head as well, only for it to be empty.


Smith & Wesson Model 15
One of the sailors uses a Smith & Wesson Model 15, dropping it to the floor when ordered to by Det. Nordberg (O.J. Simpson), until the six other armed men make him pick it back up.
Unknown Colt Revolver
Police at the ball game have unknown Colts in their holsters, likely either Pythons or Troopers.
Smith & Wesson Model 27
The criminal trying to escape Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) as he pursues in a driver's ed cab fires out the back window with what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 27. It is either that or a New Century Hand Ejector.

Many of the sailors use revolvers at angles to difficult for identification.
Pistols
Colt M1911A1
An M1911A1 is the sidearm of Det. Nordberg (O.J. Simpson) during his infiltration of the boat "I Love You" before being shot up and barely surviving. Angels outfielder Reggie Jackson, under the control of Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban), is also seen pulling an M1911A1 from under a base plate at the ball game, using it in an attempt to kill Queen Elizabeth II (Jeannette Charles) before Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) fires a tranquilizer round at him, which misses, and hits a fat woman on the upper level, who falls on him with disastrous results. Drebin then picks up the M1911A1 and pursues Ludwig.
Taurus PT92
One of the sailors on the boat "I Love You" uses a stainless Taurus PT92. A Taurus is also used by a criminal in the meat packing plant before falling into a vat of toxic chemicals (which doesn't seem to follow health code for the plant).

A Heckler & Koch P9S is used by one of the sailors on the boat "I Love You".

An AKM is seen slung over the back of a terrorist in Beirut.

One of the terrorists in Beirut is seen armed with an FN FNC.

An Galil AR is seen in the hands of a terrorist in Beirut.
Flintlock Rifle
A Kentucky Flintlock Rifle is presented to Queen Elizabeth II (Jeannette Charles) by Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban), but Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) becomes fazed by the loud fanfare and tackles the Queen when he sees the gun pointed at her to get her out of what he believes to be the line of fire.
M1 Garand
US Army and Marine honor guard members are seen with M1 Garand rifles during the Angels baseball game.

A Browning M2HB is seen on the back of a jeep in Beirut.
Submachine Guns
Micro Uzi
Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban) draws a Micro Uzi during the ball game and uses it to hold up Jane Spencer (Priscilla Presley) before Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) hits him with a tranquilizer round. Unfortunately, his mind control system is activated and Jane picks up the Micro Uzi in an attempt to kill Drebin before he proposes and she drops the gun.
