The Smith & Wesson Model 36 is the sidearm usually carried by more senior NYPD detectives, including Detective Andy Sipowicz (Dennis Franz). Both Detective Connie McDowell (Charlotte Ross) and Detective Rita Ortiz (Jacqueline Obradors).
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
ESU officers are armed with the Heckler & Koch MP5A3 throughout the series.
