Medal of Honor: Vanguard is a first-person shooter set during World War II developed by EA Los Angeles and published by Electronic Arts, it is the tenth instalment of the Medal of Honor series of games. Medal of Honor: Vanguard was released on the 26th of March, 2007 in North America for the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii.

Handguns
M1911A1
The M1911A1 is only found in multiplayer and can be used by both Germans and Americans. While holding it, the gun appears black, but when looking at another person's gun, it appears to be nickel.
Submachine Guns
M1928A1 Thompson
The M1928A1 Thompson is used by the Allies and is the one of the starting weapons of the player in some missions. Called 'M1 Thompson' in the PlayStation 2 version of the game, although it is more accuratly refered to as the 'M1928 Thompson' in the Nintendo Wii version. Has a 30 round magazine by default, but can be upgraded to use 50 round drum magazines.
MP40
The MP40 is used by German and Italian soldiers (instead of the more historically accurate Beretta Model 38). Has an abnormally fast rate of fire in game. Can be seen in the hands of Corporal Garrett and Private Slauson at the end of the game.
