The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the original television series Hawaii Five-0:



Handguns

Smith & Wesson Model 36

The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is the Smith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord), Danny "Danno" Williams (James MacArthur), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong) and Kono Kalakaua (Zulu). Various other characters are seen using the firearm as well.

Smith and Wesson Model 36 - .38 special - 5 shot. First pattern with flat latch cylinder release.
Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord) opens fire with his S&W 36 in "Two Doves and Mr. Heron" (S4E05).
Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong) holds the S&W as the Five-O squad raid a home in "Wednesday, Ladies Free" (S4E03).
A suppressed S&W is used by a hitman in "Two Doves and Mr. Heron".

The Smith & Wesson Model 19 is usually seen carried by HPD officers in the series.

M16 SP1

The M16 is prominently used by McGarrett and HPD officers when engaging a sniper in "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06).

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm

Remington 700
