Counter-Strike Online is a remake of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero targeted towards Asia's gaming market. It is being developed by Nexon Corporation with oversight from license-holder Valve Corporation. It uses a micropayment model that is managed by a custom version of the Steam back-end.  There are multiple regional versions of CSO.  They are: Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, and Korea.

__TOC__<br clear="all">

Counter Strike Online features the same weapons that have appeared in Counter-Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero, and thus retain their models and names from those games.  They are further supplemented with some new weapons, such as the K1A, QBB-95, etc. Also included are new player models.  There are also fictional specially-remodeled weapons such as Double MP7A1, Double Night Hawk(Desert Eagle), and CV47(AK-47)-R60.  These are exclusive to one of the Zombie modes (Z-Mode 2) and appear in supply boxes, and the boxes themselves only appear in this mode.

Overview
 +
Like in other Counter-Strike games, players can switch between left-handed and right-handed viewmodels, which are simple mirrors of each other. Third-person models are generally modeled true-to-life, but most of the viewmodels appears to animated in left-handed operation first, which would make operation awkward for many of the weapons in real life.

Starting pistol for Terrorists.  Retains the "9x19mm Sidearm" name.  It is select-fire, capable of switching between semi-auto and 3-round burst fire.  The magazine holds an unrealistic 20-rounds of 9x19mm.  Low recoil and decent accuracy make up for low damage.  Note that the 3-round burst function exists in lieu of full-auto for balancing purposes.

Starting pistol for Counter-Terrorists.  Referred to as the "KM .45 Tactical Pistol".  A decent starting weapon, with good power/accuracy, and moderate recoil balanced out by the smaller 12-round magazine.  Comes with a suppressor that can be attached/detached at will.
+
A 2nd generation Glock 17 (retextured model from Counter-Strike) is named "9x19mm Sidearm" in game, it is the spawn weapon of the terrorist factionAs in Counter-Strike, the weapon is sometimes called the “Glock 18”, however the developer has its full-auto mode replaced with a 3-round burst mode instead, as well as the model always lacks the fire selector (possibly on the other side of the weapon) and is incorrectly fed from a 20-round magazine, making it not a genuine Glock 18, but a modified Glock 17.

The weapon comes with a red edition and a variant called the "Battle Glock 18C" which can be fired in full-auto by right clicking the secondary fire key. Interestingly, the models of these variants are higher quality than the original weapon, and the markings on their slides belong to the Glock 18 instead of the Glock 17.

The SIG P228, called the ".228 Compact" in the game, is a mid-range gun with moderate power and accuracy. Its magazine holds 13 rounds of .357SIG which are quite effective on Kevlar armour. This gun comes with no extra attachments or firing modes. Its chambering should technically make it a SIG Sauer P229, as the P228 is only available in 9mm.

Called the "ES Five-Seven" in the game. It has high accuracy, high rate of fire, and minimal recoil for a single pistol, but unlike in real life, its 5.7x28mm rounds doesn't do much damage, even through armor. The magazine holds 20 rounds of 5.7x28mm.  This gun is only available to Counter Terrorists.
+
The FN Five-seveN is named "ES Five-Seven" in game, a weapon exclusive to the counter-terrorists. The model is retextured from Counter-Strike with a darker finish. As in all the previous Counter-Strike games, the skins of the Five-seveN were based on the original model which is no longer produced.

Probably a homage to John Woo or Chow Yun Fat. The dual pistols are purchasable by the terrorists, as the equivalent to the CTs' FN Five-seveN. The model is the same as in Condition Zero.

Strayer Voigt Infinity
The Beretta 92G Elite II is a dual-wielded weapon, called the '.40 Dual Elite' in the game. The guns are only available to the Terrorist faction, where they are used as back up sidearms. They can sometimes be used as a primary weapon set in the first three rounds or so. It has a very high rate of fire and good accuracy, at the cost of high bullet spread under sustained fire. The magazines each hold 15 rounds of 9mm.  Since there are 2 guns, it takes longer than normal to reload them.
+
The Strayer Voigt Infinity comes with some color variants and three akimbo configurations. Appears as one of the most diverse weapon and considered one of the most accurate pistols in game. The akimbo variants have secondary firing modes (firing in gangsta stance) which does high rate of fire as the SMGs, although the pistols are relatively inaccurate when firing in bursts. The models have uncocked hammers, which means they couldn't be fired in real-life as the 1911 type pistols are single-action.

It's appears as the .50 AE Revolver rifle. Not only does it have firepower close to the rifles, it also keeps the mobility of a pistol. Because of its high fire rate, it has become the one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

+
The Luger P08 is named simply "Luger" in game, it also comes with gold and silver finishes as well as two upgrade variants. It is the most powerful 9mm caliber pistol in game, but it has low capacity and is not very accurate. It's one of the WW2 classic weapon in game.

+

 +
The Silver Luger is only available in Zombie Mode 3 and usable by Blair only. It is effective against zombies due to its high knock-back power and higher capacity (15 rounds).
 +

 +
Another note is that the Luger has the distinction of being the only handgun in the game held with an appropriate grip, rather than the default "Valve character" teacupping grip.

Flintlock Pistol
 +
A Flintlock Pistol is featured in game and is called "Divine Lock". With this weapon the player can usually kill an enemy with one shot (except for zombies and monsters), although its projectile velocity is quite slow and the weapon is very inaccurate due to the lack of rifling, as well as it has lower rate of fire than many “normal” sidearms in game (firing a shot then reloaded), making it very inconvenient to use in any game modes.
 +

 +
The gun is modeled after the "KTW Flintlock Pistol (G.Washington)" airsoft spring pistol (note the “ASGK” marking engraved on the gun), while that replica is based on the British made Hawkins 1748 pistol, implying that the pistol was the personal sidearm of the first US president.

The Winchester Model 1887 is named "M1887" in game, possibly modeled after a Norinco copy. It is quite useful for hunting zombies thanks to its high knock-back effect. Most variants of M1887 in the game feature Terminator 2 style flip-cocking animations after firing a shot. Although most of them (except the "Maverick" variant) didn't have their cocking levers enlarged, which would possibly break the users' fingers when they try to flip-cock them in real-life. And due to the weapons weren't sawn-off yet, the user would be very awkward to do so.

The IMI Galil, called the "IDF Defender" in-game, is another gun which is considered a safe buy when money is an issue. Its 35-round magazine gives the player an extra edge when in an intense battle. The weapon has a medium range and less power than other rifles (such as the AK-47). Unlike the AK-47, the Galil's recoil can be more controllable and spraying a little more accurate. As this weapon is a carryover from 1.6/CZ, it still retains its incorrect 20-round magazine from the 7.62x51mm variant, the Galatz.
+
The QBZ-95 is fed with a 75 round drum magazine, appears as the "QBB95" and belongs to the MG class in game. This "MG" has similar features as the assault rifles (although the QBZ-95 itself is already an assault rifle) and also has cheap price.

It's the best choice when assassin want to hide their location. In addition, its more compact than the other sniper rifle. Also,it has more flexibility. It's very quiet when it's firing the 7.62 mm bullet, that cause your enemy can not grasp your position.
+
The Steyr Scout is renamed to "Schmidt Scout" in game. As in Counter-Strike, the Scout is accurate, quite and light but is weaker than the "AWP" for balance reasons, requiring the user to hit 2 shots to kill an enemy (except for headshots), making it a professional sniper's choice. However, the weapon is almost useless in Counter-Strike Online when other 7.62mm bolt-action sniper rifles were introduced to the game, as they are all powerful than the Scout. The model is retextured from Counter-Strike model but with a scope from Condition Zero. Comes with a red edition.

The sniper rifle which has two-stage sniper scope, the D3/AU-1 ,can accurately hit your enemy by using its sniper scope. The weapon with high capacity magazine ,in order to reduce the danger posed by reloading.
+
The VSK-94 retain its name in game, comes with an integrated suppressor and exclusive to the counter-terrorist faction. Suitable to use for silent kills or uses as an SMG due to its light weight and full-auto feature. The weapon has the highest rate of fire in the sniper rifle category, but it is extremely inaccurate when firing in bursts due to high recoil and does low damage as other 9mm SMGs (using the same ammo in game). Also, the scope can be zoomed once only. Interestingly, despite that the model showing the VSK-94 has PKN-03M night vision scope attached, it still reuses the original sight reticle from Counter-Strike and the scope does not featuring any night vision functions.

Release Date: 2008
Developer: Valve Corporation / Nexon Corporation
Publisher: Valve Corporation / Nexon Corporation
Series: Counter-Strike
Platforms: Microsoft Windows (PC)
Genre: First-person shooter

The following weapons appear in the video game Counter-Strike Online:

Overview

Like in other Counter-Strike games, players can switch between left-handed and right-handed viewmodels, which are simple mirrors of each other. Third-person models are generally modeled true-to-life, but most of the viewmodels appears to animated in left-handed operation first, which would make operation awkward for many of the weapons in real life.

Pistols

Glock 17

A 2nd generation Glock 17 (retextured model from Counter-Strike) is named "9x19mm Sidearm" in game, it is the spawn weapon of the terrorist faction. As in Counter-Strike, the weapon is sometimes called the “Glock 18”, however the developer has its full-auto mode replaced with a 3-round burst mode instead, as well as the model always lacks the fire selector (possibly on the other side of the weapon) and is incorrectly fed from a 20-round magazine, making it not a genuine Glock 18, but a modified Glock 17.

Heckler & Koch USP45 Tactical

The Heckler & Koch USP Tactical returns from Counter-Strike and named "KM .45 Tactical Pistol" in game. It is the spawn pistol for the counter-terrorist faction and comes with a detachable silencer. The skin is taken from Condition Zero which has a strange blue finish.

This weapon has two variants, the red edition and the "Battle" edition.

Probably a homage to John Woo or Chow Yun Fat. The dual pistols are purchasable by the terrorists, as the equivalent to the CTs' FN Five-seveN. The model is the same as in Condition Zero.

Strayer Voigt Infinity

The Strayer Voigt Infinity comes with some color variants and three akimbo configurations. Appears as one of the most diverse weapon and considered one of the most accurate pistols in game. The akimbo variants have secondary firing modes (firing in gangsta stance) which does high rate of fire as the SMGs, although the pistols are relatively inaccurate when firing in bursts. The models have uncocked hammers, which means they couldn't be fired in real-life as the 1911 type pistols are single-action.

Luger P08

The Luger P08 is named simply "Luger" in game, it also comes with gold and silver finishes as well as two upgrade variants. It is the most powerful 9mm caliber pistol in game, but it has low capacity and is not very accurate. It's one of the WW2 classic weapon in game.

The Silver Luger is only available in Zombie Mode 3 and usable by Blair only. It is effective against zombies due to its high knock-back power and higher capacity (15 rounds).

Another note is that the Luger has the distinction of being the only handgun in the game held with an appropriate grip, rather than the default "Valve character" teacupping grip.

Flintlock Pistol

A Flintlock Pistol is featured in game and is called "Divine Lock". With this weapon the player can usually kill an enemy with one shot (except for zombies and monsters), although its projectile velocity is quite slow and the weapon is very inaccurate due to the lack of rifling, as well as it has lower rate of fire than many “normal” sidearms in game (firing a shot then reloaded), making it very inconvenient to use in any game modes.

Winchester Model 1887

The Winchester Model 1887 is named "M1887" in game, possibly modeled after a Norinco copy. It is quite useful for hunting zombies thanks to its high knock-back effect. Most variants of M1887 in the game feature Terminator 2 style flip-cocking animations after firing a shot. Although most of them (except the "Maverick" variant) didn't have their cocking levers enlarged, which would possibly break the users' fingers when they try to flip-cock them in real-life. And due to the weapons weren't sawn-off yet, the user would be very awkward to do so.

The M1887 also comes with two gold-plated variants (Gold Edition and CSOGS Edition), Elegant, Christmas and Maverick. The "M1887 Maverick" is unique as it is the only shotgun that is listed in the handgun class. The Maverick version is also a sawn-off variant and its capacity is reduced to 6 rounds as a result.

The user needs to spend 1.5 seconds to spool up the barrels before firing it. The weapon is also extremely heavy, greatly reducing the user's moving speed when firing it.

It comes with a modified variant (M134 Predator) which could shorten the time of spooling up the barrels. Other variants included the Christmas edition and the “M134 Vulcan”. However, the weapon is almost useless in Counter-Strike Online when other 7.62mm bolt-action sniper rifles were introduced to the game, as they are all powerful than the Scout. The actual Arctic Warfare Police is only chambered for 7.62 NATO instead of .338 Lapua Magnum.
