Captured! is a 1933 American drama movie directed by Roy Del Ruth and was based on the 1930 short story "Fellow Prisoners" by Sir Philip Gibbs. The movie is about Allied prisoners of war in a German camp during World War One. Captain Fred Allison meets his old friend Lieutenant Jack "Dig" Digby again in a German prison camp. While Capt. Allison waits for the right moment to break out, Lt. Digby does this on his own initiative. At the same time, a German woman is raped and murdered. Suspicion immediately falls on the escaped officer, who upon request is to be brought back to court by the Germans.
