Better Call Saul is an American legal crime drama television series as well as a prequel and sequel to the acclaimed series Breaking Bad created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould for AMC. The series follows the story of James McGill (Bob Odenkirk), the attorney and former con artist who would eventually become the 'famed' lawyer Saul Goodman six years before the events of Breaking Bad. The second main character, brought back for more backstory revealing is Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a former police officer who becomes an enforcer for drug traffickers. Better Call Saul premiered on AMC Network on February 8, 2015, and concluded on August 15, 2022, after six seasons consisting of 63 episodes.
