Appointment with Danger
Appointment with Danger is an American 1950 film noir directed by Lewis Allen and starring Alan Ladd as US postal inspector Al Goddard who investigates the murder of fellow postal inspector in Gary, Indiana. During the investigation, Goddard finds the witness of the crime, nun Sister Augustine (Phyllis Calvert), and protects her when she is targeted by the killers.
The following weapons were used in the film Appointment with Danger:
Colt Detective Special
United States Postal Service Inspector Al Goddard (Alan Ladd) carries a Colt Detective Special revolver. Colt DS revolvers are also used by USPS Chief Inspector Maury Ahearn (Dan Riss), Gary Police Department Lt. Smith & Wesson Military & Police
In the scene in the gang hideout, Al Goddard (Alan Ladd) takes a Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolver from the gun rack. A revolver in holster of the postal van driver Paul Ferrar (Stacy Harris) also seems to be a S&W M&P.

Another Al Goddard's (Alan Ladd) handgun is a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless. Gene Gunner (Paul Lees) carries a Colt Model 1903 in shoulder holster.
