On the big screen, play a mostly soldiers and police characters, as in films Bílá tma (1948), Action B (Akce B) (1952), Everything Ends Tonight (1954), The Unconquered (Neporazení) (1956), The Case Is Not Yet Closed (Prípad jeste nekoncí) (1957), The Tank Brigade (1958). Among his most famous characters is: sgt.
