The 12cm/45 Type 10 was a heavy anti-aircraft gun of the Imperial Japanese Navy, derived from the 12cm/45 3rd Year Type naval gun. It was mounted aboard a number of heavy cruiser classes, but was replaced by the newer 12.7cm/40 Type 89. It would later see use as a land-based dual-purpose weapon during World War II, as well as aboard some smaller vessels.
