The following weapons were used in the film Hard Rain:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226 (nickel)
Jim (Morgan Freeman) uses a nickel-plated SIG-Sauer P226 with taped grips. In the cemetery's scene the gun is used by Tom too.
Arminius HW-9ST
Ray (Ricky Harris) uses a Arminius HW-9ST with non-fluted cylinder and pearl taped grips. The gun probably was the same used on the set of "Batman Forever".
Beretta 92 Centurion
When Trooper Phil (Peter Murnik) menaces the Sheriff, he points a Beretta 92 Centurion Inox.
Taurus Model 44
Kenny’s (Michael A. Goorjian) revolver is a stainless steel Taurus Model 44 with a 6 inch barrel.
Smith & Wesson Model 686
Wayne (Mark Rolston) draws from his duty belt a Smith & Wesson M686 when Karen kills him. Tom carries this gun and uses it in the final scene. From Wayne's death to the movie's end, this six-bullet revolver shoots about 20 shots with no need to reload!
Smith & Wesson Model 66
In the beginning of the movie, Tom (Christian Slater) draws a Smith & Wesson M66 with a 4 inch barrel from his duty belt to protect the money. When he goes to the van’s back, the gun is in his hand but in the next scene he it is missing and he’s soon forced to run to avoid Jim’s men.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Sheriff Collins (Randy Quaid) carries in an ankle holster a stainless steel Smith & Wesson Model 60. He attempts to use it at the end of the movie.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Wayne (Mark Rolston) holds in his right hand a Smith & Wesson M36 when he closes the weapon locker. This gun is visible only in a few frames and can only be seen during a careful viewing.
Glock 17
In the police station and in the church shooting we can see for one second a Glock 17 carried by Sheriff Collins (Randy Quaid) on his duty belt.
Rifles
Dragunov SVD
When Jim talks with Tom and Charlie, Kenny (Michael A. Goorjian) points his SVD Dragunov sniper rifle. This weapon is used only in this scene.
Ruger AC556
The Sturm Ruger AC556 is used in the most of the film by police and criminals. Sometimes the rifle is swapped out with the semi-automatic only Ruger Mini-14GB which is nearly identical except for the absence of the full auto selector switch on the back of the receiver.
Sturm Ruger Mini-14
Hank (Wayne Duvall) holds a Sturm Ruger Mini-14. Tom takes it during the church shooting.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
In the outside bank scene we can see Uncle Charlie (Ed Asner) give a Mossberg Model 500 with wood furniture to Tom. Tom tries to take this shotgun halfway through the movie.
Mossberg 590 Mariner
The deputies and Sheriff Collins use a Mossberg 590 Mariner throughout the movie.
Remington 870 Sawed-Off
Mr. Mehlor (Dann Florek) uses a Remington M870 Sawed-Off.
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
Doreen (Betty White) uses a Double Barreled Shotgun.
Bonus
Hank's Weapon Magazine
Hank (Wayne Duvall) read page 46-47 of GUNS & AMMO, January 1997 in the WC.
