The following weapons were featured in Season 2 of the television series Airwolf:
Guns of Airwolf
According to the computer readout seen during Season 1, Airwolf's offensive weapons include 40mm Cannons and .50 caliber Chain Guns mounted on each side in addition to its rocket pods. The machine guns were shown to have telescoping barrels, which allowed them to be stowed away when the helicopter configured itself to fly supersonic.
From season 2 onwards the phrase "chain gun" was not used to describe the machine guns, as the production team had been advised it was a registered trademark of McDonnell Douglas.
Handguns
M1911A1
The M1911A1 is used throughout Season 2, notably by Archangel (Alex Cord) in "Fallen Angel" (S2E07).
Beretta Model 90
What appears to be a Beretta Model 90 is wielded in "Prisoner of Yesterday" (S2E16).
Colt Python
Sheriff Bogan (Lance LeGault) carries a Colt Python as his sidearm in Season 2's premiere "Sweet Britches" (S2E01).
Detonics CombatMaster
The stainless Detonics CombatMaster is seen carried by both Stringfellow Hawke in Season 2.
Detonics ScoreMaster
Stringfellow also is seen using a Detonics Scoremaster in various episodes.
Heckler & Koch HK4
The Heckler & Koch HK4 appears to be the pistol carried by the hijackers in "Flight #093 is Missing" (S2E09).
Smith & Wesson Model 36
A Smith & Wesson Model 36 is used by Holly Mathews (Barbara Howard) to threaten Caitlin in "The Truth About Holly" (S2E04).
Walther PPK
The Walther PPK is carried by various characters throughout the series.
Rifles/Carbines
Valmet M71S
As what was common for productions in the 1970's and 1980's, the Valmet M71S rifle is seen used as a substitute for the AK-47. In Season 2's "Short Walk to Freedom" (S2E22), Hawke is seen with the rifle.
Valmet M76F
The Valmet M76 is seen used.
AKM
The AKM is used throughout the series.
M16A1
The M16A1 is used throughout Season 2, often seen in flashbacks to the Vietnam War. The rifles also are used by Hawke's team as they attempt to rescue POW's in "Once a Hero" (S2E10).
Ruger AC556K
The Ruger AC556K is used throughout Season 2.
Ruger AC556
A Ruger AC556 with a full stock is seen in Season 1's premiere "Sweet Britches" (S2E01) and Season 2's finale "Short Walk to Freedom" (S2E22).
Winchester Model 70
The Winchester Model 70 is seen used by Buddy (Jeff MacKay) in Season 2's premiere "Sweet Britches" (S2E01).
Winchester 1892
Both Sheriff Bogan (Lance LeGault) and Buck (Guich Koock) use what appears to be a Winchester 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine in "Sweet Britches" (S2E01).

Uzi
A full size Uzi is used throughout the series, sometimes fitted with a suppressor.
Micro Uzi
A Micro Uzi is used by Hawke in "The Truth About Holly" (S2E04).
MAC-10
The MAC-10 is used throughout the series, notably by Dunkirk (who has one with a suppressor) in "HX 1".
Heckler & Koch HK94 (Chopped & Converted)
The "Fake MP5", the Heckler & Koch HK94 converted to full auto fire and with a shortened barrel is used in the series. This version was used in many films and television series during the 1980s and 1990s.
Machine Guns
M60
The M60 is seen mounted on jeeps in "Firestorm" (S2E02).
M1919A4 .30 Caliber Machine Gun
The Browning M1919A4 .30 caliber machine gun is shown extensively in the series.
Browning M2 Aircraft Heavy Machine Gun
The Browning M2 Aircraft heavy machine gun is also seen in the series.
Valmet M78/83
In "HX-1" (S2E08), one of the weapons seen during an arms demonstration is the Valmet M78/83.
Other
Faux M203 Grenade Launcher
An M203 Grenade Launcher is seen mounted underneath an M16 SP1 used by Gary Wallace (Thomas Callaway) in "Once A Hero". This rifle configuration is very similar to the one used by Arnold Schwarzenegger film Predator.
M72 LAW
The M72 LAW is seen during a weapons demonstration in "HX-1" (S2E08). In "Out of the Sky" (S2E18), a LAW is fired at Airwolf from another helicopter.
FIM-43 Redeye
The FIM-43 Redeye is used throughout the series, notably in "Flight #093 is Missing" (S2E09).
