Ghoul (Russian: Упырь; Upyr) is a 1997 Russian mystery horror movie, directed and written by Konstantin Murzenko. A small Russian town is terrorized by a monstrous powerful vampire, called "Upyr" (Ghoul). Upyr turns everyone whom he wants into a vampire obedient to him, and uses them for its own purposes. Even the Mafia boss is in fear, because Upyr and those who are possessed by him cannot be killed by normal weapons. Only one fearless man can bring hope to the people.
