Satan Met a Lady (1936) was the second filmed adaptation of Dashiell Hammett’s classic detective novel (The Maltese Falcon (1931) and The Maltese Falcon), this time with a light, comedic touch. Directed by William Dieterle, the film starred Bette Davis, Warren William, Alison Skipworth, Arthur Treacher, Marie Wilson, Wini Shaw (as Winifred Shaw), and Porter Hall. In order to clear his name after the murder of his partner, a San Franciso P.I., Ted Shane (William), becomes embroiled in the search for a rare, ancient artifact worth millions.
The following firearms were used in the film Satan Met a Lady:
Webley revolver

Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket

Colt Model 1903/1908
