This page is a trial page for the new "Gun Brands" idea. To follow the discussion pertaining to this page look Here.
About
In 1949, William B. Ruger and Alexander McCormick Sturm founded 'Sturm, Ruger'. Their first gun, the Ruger Standard (a precursor to the MK1), was based on the German 9mm Luger. The Ruger Standard was so successful that it launched the company. Today, Ruger dominates the .22 market with the Ruger 10/22 which is owned by a majority of gun enthusiast.

I have chosen to remove Ruger from the start of the guns names, Thus Ruger LCP becomes just LCP, the link of course redirects to Ruger LCP. This is up for discussion.--Zackmann08 11:21, 23 December 2011 (CST)
