Resident Evil: Dead Aim is a first/third-person shooter hybrid video game developed by Cavia and published by Capcom and released for the Playstation 2 in 2003. The game is the fourth installment in the Survivor FPS series (the third was part of the Dino Crisis franchise). The story follow USSTRATCOM agent Bruce McGivern and Chinese Security Bureau agent Fongling, trying to stop Morpheus Duvall (a former Umbrella employee) on a t-Virus infected Umbrella-owned ocean liner, the Spencer Rain who demanded a ranson of $1 billion to United States and China otherwise missiles with t-Virus filled warheads will be launched.
The following weapons appear in the video game Resident Evil: Dead Aim:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS Brigadier
A customized Beretta 92FS Brigadier appears in the game as the "Handgun". The weapon is Bruce McGivern's default weapon.
The weapon holding a correct 15-round magazine and is equipped with compensator. The recognizable large triangular projections running halfway along the slide next to the barrel indicates that's this gun is part from the Brigadier series.
Glock 18
The Glock 18 appears in the game as the "Semi-Auto Handgun" (despite acting as a burst handgun). The gun can be found in the Spencer Rain's room 302.
The protruding compensated barrel indicate that it's a early 2nd generation Glock 18, it sports an incorrect 18-round magazine (or with a 17-round magazine with a round already chambered) and is capable of an unrealistic 3-round-burst operation.
IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle appears in the game as the "Magnum". The gun can be found by Bruce in the Spencer Rain's Captain's room.
The weapon holding a 7-round magazine suggests that it may be chambered in .50 AE.
Mk 22 Mod 0 "Hush Puppy"
The Mk 22 Mod 0 "Hush Puppy" (a Navy-modified Smith & Wesson Model 39) appears in the game as the "Silenced Handgun". The weapon is one of Fong Ling's default weapon and can be found by Bruce in the Spencer Rain's room 206 or Umbrella Waste Disposal Facility B5F only if the player didn't took it on the boat. The weapon is really helpful to not get zombies attention and even more useful to fight the blind B.O.W. Pluto.
The weapon holds a correct 8-round magazine capacity, and fires exclusively in semi-auto - the slide-locking mechanism is unusable.
Revolver
Unidentified Revolver
This revolver was used by Morpheus Duvall to hold Bruce McGivern at gun point in the opening cutscene, it cannot be used in-game. The weapon is hard to be determined due to the blurry effect of the cutscene, but the trigger and trigger guard could come from a Manhurin MR73 while the barrel looks like the one from a Taurus Raging Bull.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
The SPAS-12 appears in the game as the "Shotgun". The weapon can be found by Bruce in the Spencer Rain's freezer room or in Umbrella Waste Disposal Facility Boiler room B2F only if the player didn't took it on the boat.
It is a cruiser grip model (no buttstock), holds 8 rounds of 12 gauge Buckshot and only function in pump-action mode.
Rifles
G36V/G36KV Hybrid
An hybrid of the G36KV and G36V appears in the game as the "Assault Rifle". The weapon is one of Fong Ling's default weapon and can be found by Bruce in the Umbrella Waste Disposal Facility 1F Clean Room.
The carry handle lacking the dual optics is typical of the G36V (the export version of the G36) while the short barrel would indicate that it's a G36K (the carabine version of the G36) so it would have been a G36KV, however the weapon's body is too long for a G36K. The weapon is equipped with a 1.5x optic integrated in the carrying handle, a 100-round Beta C-Mag and got its stock removed.
Launchers
Milkor MGL Mk 1L
The MGL Mk 1L appears in the game as the "Grenade Launcher". The weapon can be found by Bruce in the Umbrella Waste Disposal Facility 1F West Passage.
The weapon is equipped with an Armson OEG reflex sight, had its stock removed and lack the picatinny rail on the barrel. Oddly characters hold the gun by the barrel instead of the foregrip which should result in severe burns after firing.
Grenades
M67 Hand Grenade
What appears to be a M67 hand grenade was used in the opening cutscene to save Bruce McGivern from Morpheus Duvall, it cannot be used in-game. It makes an unrealistically powerful explosion.
Fictional Weapons
Charged Particle Rifle
The fictional Charged Particle Rifle is a special experimental anti-B.O.W. rifle. The weapon can be found by Bruce in the Umbrella Waste Disposal Facility 1F L-003 Laboratory. It is required for the first boss fight against Morpheus but the rifle will lose charge after the fight and cannot be reused.
It is designed to produce a large electrical discharge that causes immediate destruction of cells at a molecular level and relies on a self-charging on-board battery pack allowing it to last indefinitely.
