Handguns
SIG-Sauer P229 E2
The majority of the NCIS agents including G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam Hanna (L.L. Cool J), and Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) now carry as their sidearm the new model SIG-Sauer P229 E2 with the redesigned slide and new grips. Various characters also use the P229 throughout the season.
SIG-Sauer P238
A two-tone SIG-Sauer P238 Nitron was placed in a safe by Quinn at the end of "Rude Awakenings" (S4E06).
Taurus PT1911 AR
Sam uses a two-tone Taurus PT1911 AR pistol after the hotel room is raided by Sidorov's men in "Rude Awakenings" (S4E06). Sam also uses a GSR that's fitted with a laser sight in "Descent" (S4E24).
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used in Season 4's premiere "Endgame" (S4E01). James Pierce (Glynn Turman), a suspected pro-Soviet deep cover agent, uses one in fighting back against gunmen sent after him in "Out of the Past" (S4E05). Guards of the Republic Armored Security service are armed with 92FS pistols as their main sidearm in "The Gold Standard" (S4E09). Carjackers use them to engage NCIS agents in "Drive" (S4E11). LAPD officers uses the 92FS as one of their main sidearms.
Glock 17
LAPD officers use the Glock 17 as an official sidearm. An Atama Security contractor engages G and Sam with a Glock 17 in "Recruit" (S4E02). One was dropped by Dr. Oliver Mathers (Ian Alda) in "The Fifth Man" (S4E03). Armed gunmen working for FSB agents turned arms dealers are armed with Glock 17s in "Out of the Past" (S4E06). A Glock 17 is used by Quinn (Aunjanue Ellis) in a standoff in "Rude Awakenings" (S4E06). One is used by Clint Sears in "Skin Deep" (S4E07). A few mercenaries use Glock 17s to attack a safehouse in "Collateral" (S4E08).
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is used in Season 4's premiere "Endgame" (S4E01). A few carjackers fire Glock 19s at G and Sam in "Drive" (S4E11). Deeks takes one of the dropped Glock 19s after a carjacker was killed in the same episode. One is used by Leonard Wall, a US Navy sailor and drug smuggler in "Free Ride" (S4E10).
Glock 26
The Glock 26 serves as the main sidearm of NCIS Office of Special Projects Operations Manager Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt). The Glock 26 is also used by Lisa Tran (Jae Suh) in "Dead Body Politic" (S4E04).
Heckler & Koch P2000
A Heckler & Koch P2000 was used by Astrid (Abbie Cobb) in "The Fifth Man" (S4E03).
M1911A1-type pistol
A mercenary uses a M1911-type pistol with a stainless slide in "Collateral" (S4E08). In a sort of continuity error, Deeks appears to uses a M1911A1 in "Papers Soldiers" (S4E12).
Makarov PM
A Makarov PM is used by ex-FSB agent turned arms dealer Isaak Sidorov (Timothy V. Murphy) near the end of "Wanted" (S4E17).
Smith & Wesson 5944
The Smith & Wesson 5944 continues to be the sidearm of LAPD Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).
Submachine Guns
Colt Model 635 9mm SMG
An armored car robber disguised as a clown uses a Colt Model 635 9mm SMG to take down armed guards in "The Gold Standard" (S4E09).
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
Kensi is armed with a Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW when she detains Adanan Al-Ahmadi in Dubai in "Recruit" (S4E02).
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is used by CIA operative Michelle Hanna (Aunjanue Ellis) in Season 4's finale "Descent" (S4E24).
Heckler & Koch MP5SD
The OSP Armory has a few Heckler & Koch MP5SD submachine guns in "Descent" (S4E24). There's not enough evidence to determine what kind of MP5SD variant it is.
IMI Uzi
A VEVAK agent uses an IMI Uzi in "Endgame" (S4E01).
Shotguns
Maverick Model 88
Sam uses a Maverick Model 88 during a NCIS raid in "The Gold Standard" (S4E09).
Remington 870
A sawed-off Remington 870 was used by a Sidorov henchman in "Rude Awakenings" (S4E06).
Serbu Super Shorty
A Serbu Super Shorty is used by a gunman sent after James Pierce in "Out of the Past" (S4E05). Dmitri Greshnev (Andrew Howard) uses the same weapon in "Rude Awakenings" (S4E06).
Assault Rifles
AKMS
Islamic militants are armed with the AKMS in their Dubai stronghold in "Recruit" (S4E02). An AKMS customized to be carbine-sized with black synthetic furniture was used by an armored car robber disguised as a pirate to take out armed guards in "The Gold Standard". (S4E09) Iranian soldiers are armed with AKMS in the beginning of "Descent" (S4E24).
Colt M4A1
NCIS agents in tactical missions are armed with Colt M4A1s throughout the season.
Heckler & Kock MR556A1 (Mocked Up to Resemble the HK416D)
G, Sam, Kensi and Deeks use modified Heckler & Koch MR556A1 to resemble the Heckler & Koch HK416D fitted with various accessories in "Kill House" (S4E14)
Heckler & Koch HK417
G uses a Heckler & Koch HK417 as a designated marksman weapon in downtown Los Angeles in "Rude Awakenings" (S4E06). It has a scope and bipod. A NCIS agent in tactical gear is armed with a 417 while on a raid with Deeks and Kensi.
IWI Galil MAR
A masked robber in "The Gold Standard" (S4E9) uses a IWI Galil MAR outfitted with a RIS system and a vertical foregrip attached.
