+ | Beginning in Season 2, Detective Marty Deeks ([[Eric Christian Olsen]]) carries a [[Beretta 92FS]] as his main sidearm due to his status with the LAPD and merely assignment to NCIS as a liaison officer. Deeks claims he likes it due to the manual safety saving his life when a Junkie grabbed it from him and that he can manually load the chamber if his magazines malfunction. Emma Mastin ([[Liane Balaban]]) is seen using a 92FS when defending herself from a hit team in "Black Widow" (S2E02). The OSP armory contains several weapons including rifles that resemble FAMAS assault rifles.
M4A1 Carbine
Callen and Sam as well as US Marines are seen using M4A1 carbines in "Borderline" (S2E03). In the episode, the Marine weapons are fitted with ACOG scopes and the agents' rifles are fitted with EOTech sights and brass catchers. In "Black Widow" (S2E02), Kensi, Sam and Deeks have M4A1s with a Picatinny-equipped handguard that held vertical foregrip and scopes. In "Personal" (S2E17), NCIS tactical teams led by Hanna also are armed with M4A1's.
SIG SG 551
Some SG 551s are used by ex-GIGN operators turned mercenaries in "Empty Quiver" (S2E16).
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International AWM (Airsoft - Modified)
NCIS snipers are seen taking positions armed with what appears to be an airsoft version of the AWM rifle in "Black Widow" (S2E02). Likely used since a blank firing rifle would be unnecessary for this scene, the rifle appears to be the same weapon seen in Season 1's "Killshot".
Remington 700P
The Remington 700PSS of a fallen LAPD SWAT sniper is seen in "Stand-off" (S2E06). In "Empty Quiver" (S2E16), Kensi is seen taking up a position with the rifle.
SVD Dragunov
A Russian GRU operative holds Callen at gunpoint with a Dragunov sniper rifle in "Deliverance" (S2E10).
Shotguns
Maverick Model 88
A short barreled version of the Maverick Model 88 shotgun fitted with a heat shield is used by ex-CIA/FBI agent Tracy Keller (Marisol Nichols) in "Stand-off" (S2E06) as her primary weapon. It is equipped with a heat shield on the barrel. It's also used by a mercenary in "Empty Quiver" (S2E16).
Heavy Weapons
Custom Launcher (Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle)
James Mason is seen taking aim with an anti-armor rocket launcher that appears to be mocked-up from a Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle in "Stand-off" (S2E06). The launcher has a riflescope on a picatinny railing. This prop launcher also appears to be the same one used in NCIS and Chuck.
M79 grenade launcher
In "Borderline" (S2E03), a mercenary grabs an M79 grenade launcher to use against Kensi, Deeks and the rescued Marines, prompting Deeks to comment that "it's so much worst than the end of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."
