If there is only one Airsoft gun, this may not qualify

the Asylum (aka the production company who make the Sharknado movies) never use live guns. ALL of their weapons are cheap spring airsofts. In fact they're a bit of a joke in the industry since they just don't care about anything. Most armorers will NOT work for them (lol, I just had a conversation with some of the armorers and the name Asylum and Sharknado came up and wow, did that stir up a hornets nest! hahahaha) . That being said, one Airsoft Pistol, is insufficient to make this page qualify (per the rules of IMFDB). And I can guarantee you that it IS a toy gun that's fired CG. Asylum never uses real guns. :D They have a supply of crap storebought cheap Airsofts and they use them for everything MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 19:14, 4 August 2015 (EDT)

I wonder if guns in original Sharknado (also made by Asylum) are also airsoft? At least a Mossberg 500 Cruiser looks real as there is a screenshot of the loading of this shotgun. Greg-Z (talk)

There are currently four exceptions to the more than one real firearm rule, and #4 gives some leeway:

"4) the single firearm rule only applies if the firearm is real. If it is an obvious toy or airsoft gun, then it does not qualify. Having a lone character wave around an 'orange plug' airsoft toy does not merit a page. If the film is filled with various replica or high quality airsoft weapons than can fool the casual viewer, then it qualifies, if only to shine light upon the fact that the guns are fakes." (Emphasis mine)

But the screencaps are crap. If a blurry terrible pic is the only thing we're going on, it STILL does not pass muster because no general average person will be able to see it well enough to wonder what it is. I still say it does NOT qualify. MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 23:38, 26 September 2015 (EDT)
