The A-3 and the A-7 are actually F-8 Crusaders, which had four Colt Mk 12s. Either way, A-7s of this time period were armed with Colt Mk 12s as well. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:37, 2 April 2016 (EDT)

Sorry, my fault. Thanks! Greg-Z (talk) 09:45, 2 April 2016 (EDT)
Going on the squadron name on the A-4, the time frame, and since it looks like an Essex-class carrier, the ship appears to be the USS Shangri-La. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:24, 2 April 2016 (EDT)
OK, I added this info. Greg-Z (talk) 01:45, 3 April 2016 (EDT)

Italian fantasy weapons

Leonora Ruffo

I've been going through all sorts of photos of 1960s ray guns and toy weapons trying to find out what O'Brien/Oberon's fembots are packing. Looks like one of those ping pong ball shooting weapons however it looks like the Italians tart up some of the toy weapons by adding to them as this demonstrates from the 1966 Star Pilot / 2+5: Missione Hydra using the Mattel Zero M Night Fighter (formerly the automatic cap firing Dick Tracy/Guerilla Fighter and later Planet of the Apes Thompson Foofbun (talk) 20:25, 16 April 2016 (EDT)

Thanks, it's interesting and useful for more work on 1960s Italain/German movies. Greg-Z (talk) 13:20, 17 April 2016 (EDT)
