The Smith & Wesson M&P pistol is the standard sidearm of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in the series. The same pistol also shows up on several occasions in the hands of other characters.

Some of the armed men helping Morrow are armed with this in "The Laws of Inferno Dynamics" (S4E08). Fitz uses it at the end of "Wake Up" (S4E11) to open fire at Radcliffe at the holding cell in the Playground. May uses it as her official sidearm before SHIELD changed sidearm. Most law enforcement agencies use factory black Glock 17 pistols as their sidearm.

An RPG-7 is used in "The Ghost" (S4E01) by an Aryan Brotherhood thug. Mack uses it to breach the perimeter of an abandoned Soviet Navy submarine base at the end of "The Man Behind the Shield" (S4E14).
