ZK-383
ZK-383 is a submachine gun of Czechoslovakian origin. It was designed by Koucký brothers on Zbrojovka Brno weapon factory. The production started in 1938 mostly for export in South America (Venezuela and Bolivia). After Czechoslovakia was occupied by Germany, a number of ZK-383s was supplied to Bulgaria where it became the main SMG in World War II era. Waffen-SS also used this SMG under the destignation MP 383(t). After the war the production continued until 1966 (different data also exists that it was manufactured until 1948 and used until 1966). About 20,000 were manufactured.
ZK-383 existed in three version: standard, a police model ZK-383P that lacked a folding bipod and detachable barrel, and post-war ZK-383H that had an underslung magazine instead of left side attaching magazine on previous versions.
