Young Eagles (Noored kotkad) is the 1927 Estonian silent war comedy. The story takes place during the Estonian War of Independence (1918-1920). Three young men volunteered for the army. The first one was the rich student Tammekänd (Arnold Vaino), the second one was a smith Laansoo (Juhan Nõmmik), the last one was a poor farmer Lepik (Ruut Tarmo). Nevertheless, they become a very close friends and fought together till Estonian victory. This film is one of very few (if even not the only) survived Estonian silent movies.
