Vanessa Williams as Detective Carmen Vasquez with a Glock 26 in Shaft.

Vanessa Williams (aka Vanessa L. Williams) was an American actress/model who first gained fame as the winner of the 1984 Miss America pageant (the first African American contestant to do so). However, that reign was short lived when nude photos of her surfaced in Penthouse magazine. Stripped of her title, Vanessa eventually would bounce back with a series of record albums and movie roles. The scandal that thrust her into the limelight now forgotten, she conquered that adversity and made a name for herself for her singing and acting. Not to be confused with fellow actress Vanessa A. Williams who, coincidentally, is the same age.

Vanessa Williams can be seen using the following weapons in the following films and television series:

Smith & Wesson Model 38 "Bodyguard" Dr. Lee Cullen Eraser with Harriet grips 1996
