Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) continues to carry his nickel-plated six-inch barreled Colt Python revolver in Season 5. In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), Rick retrieves his Colt Python from the buried bag of weapons. Rick is seen firing all 6 shots of his Colt Python in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03). Later on, the Colt Python is seen holstered in Rick's gun belt leather holster while he uses a suppressed Mark 23 in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03) and in "Crossed" (S5E07). Rick draws his Python revolver in "Coda" (S5E08). Rick once again fires his Colt Python at Walkers in "What Happened and What's Going On" (S5E09). Rick holds his Colt Python on a Walker in in "Remember" (S5E12). Rick's Colt Python is seen in the Alexandria Safe-Zone armory and later in his holster while on duty as Alexandria's constable in "Forget" (S5E13).

Carol is seen with the carrying the revolver in "Strangers" (S5E02) and "Consumed" (S5E06). A similar revolver (or possibly Carol's gun) is picked by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) from Carol to use for self defence in "Forget" (S5E13). After a fight, Rick is seen pulling out the DS revolver in "Try" (S5E15).

Colt Detective Special 1st Gen with round butt - .38 Special

Carol (Melissa McBride) puts her Colt Detective Special to the head of Terminus member Martin (Chris Coy) in Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01).

Carol offers one pistol for Rick to take, which he picks the Colt Detective Special at the end of "Forget" (S5E13). Along with the DS is a CZ 82 and a Walther P22.

Carl is seen laying the Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolver on the floor in "Crossed" (S5E07) where it was last seen.

That pistol appears to be a Beretta 8000 Cougar Type F pistol with a suppressor found in "Strangers" (S05E02). Aiden hands Noah (Tyler James Williams) an identical Beretta and suppressor similar to Glenn's, and carries it as his sidearm in "Spend" (S5E14). Glenn and Noah both carry and fire their suppressed Beretta's at Walkers in the same episode.

Colt MK IV Series 70

A Terminus member named Mike (Chris Burns) has a nickel pistol shoulder holstered at the beginning of "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03). It appears to be a nickel plated Colt MK IV Series 70 in a M3 shoulder holster that Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) later makes as his personal sidearm, notably starting from "Self-Help" (S5E05). Glenn holds his Colt Series 70 in "Crossed" (S5E07) and "Coda" (S5E08). Glenn fires his Series 70 at Walkers in "The Distance" (S5E11). Glenn's Series 70 (or a similar one) can be seen in a box of pistols in Alexandria Safe-Zone's armory in "Forget" (S5E13). Glenn can be seen drawing his Colt MK IV Series 70 1911 in a warehouse in "Spend" (S5E14).

1975 Colt MK IV Series 70 - .45 ACP

A Terminus member named Mike (Chris Burns) has the holstered pistol at the beginning of "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03).

Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) has a Colt MK IV Series 70 holstered in "Self Help" (S5E05).

In "Crossed" (S5E07), Glenn holds the Colt MK IV Series 70. Note the bottom of the magazine reads 'COLT CAL. 9mm Luger'. This particular still is a direct reference of the cover of Issue 4 of the comics with Rick holding his H&K Mark 23.

Rick's suppressed MK 23 appears to be in the Alexandria Armory in "Forget" (S5E13). Rick's usage of the Mark 23 is a homage to the comics, where it is his primary sidearm.

In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), Mary (Denise Crosby) continues to carry a tan Smith & Wesson M&P. An Terminus inhabitant named Theresa (April Billingsley) holds a M&P in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03) before having to surrender it to Rick's group. Former Atlanta Police Department (APD) officers carry M&Ps as their main weapon/sidearm (in reality at the time, the APD did issue the M&P, but were chambered in .40 S&W before switching to the Glock 22) in "Slabtown" (S5E04). Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) uses one during her escape attempt in the same episode. Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson) has a Smith & Wesson M&P holstered in "Self Help" (S5E05), however this is not her own police academy issued one but the one obtained from the Terminus turned Hunter member after "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03). In "Crossed" (S5E07), Atlanta Officers Shepherd (Teri Wyble) & Bob Lamson (Maximiliano Hernández) draw their M&Ps before being confiscated by Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green), with the latter beginning to carry the M&P in a drop leg holster, which seems to have replaced and changed out the SIG P226 obtained from Gareth which he originally had a Beretta 92FS in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16). Officer Dawn Lerner (Christine Woods) and APD Officers draws their sidearms while Daryl uses one in "Coda" (S5E08). Noah (Tyler James Williams) has a Smith & Wesson M&P holstered in "Them" (S5E10) while Sasha draws her M&P at the end of the episode. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) carries a M&P at the end of "The Distance" (S5E11). Tara, Sasha, Noah & Eugene turn in their M&Ps upon arriving to the Alexandria Safe-Zone in "Remember" (S5E12). Tara is seen again briefly with her M&P on a supply run in "Spend" (S5E14) while an Alexandrian named Bruce (Ted Huckabee) is seen with one in the same episode.

Colt M16

Starting with "Coda" (S5E08), Sgt. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) uses an original M16 with Magpul PMAG that was previously carried by the Claimer Tony in Season 4. Abraham opens fire with the M16 to fend off the walkers in "Spend" (S5E14). In the same episode, the Alexandrian named Francine (Dahlia Legault) also uses it too.

The original Colt M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm

A custom Colt Model 933 fitted with an YHM lower receiver, low profile gas-block, muzzle-brake, Magpul MOE furniture, MVG vertical foregrip, a Magpul PMAG, and a C-More reflex sight is seen carried by a masked Morgan Jones (Lennie James) at the end of Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01). The carbine is seen at his side in Season 5's finale "Conquer" (S5E16).

Beginning in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) is seen armed with a custom AR-15 fitted with a ATN night vision scope or a Nikon 223 sniper scope as well as a YHM Phantom suppressor. Sasha's rifle has a Seekins Precision Billet upper along with the matching Seekins Precision Gen2 lower, as well as a Magpul Two-Piece stock, MOE pistol grip, PMAG, and a quad-rail handguard. Tyreese (Chad Coleman) continues to carry an M1 Carbine at the beginning of Season 5. In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), Carol (Melissa McBride) takes the M1 Carbine and carries it during her assault on Terminus. Tyreese gets his M1 back in "Strangers" (S5E02) and later is seen with the M1 Carbine when in Atlanta in "Crossed" (S5E07) and "Coda" (S5E08). The M1 Carbine is notably seen in the hands of Noah in "Them" (S5E10) and briefly in "Remember" (S5E12). Two M1 Carbines are seen in Alexandria's gun room in "Forget" (S5E13). In "Spend" (S5E14), Noah (Tyler James Williams) carries the M1 Carbine while on a run.

In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), Martin (Chris Coy) has the rifle on his back before Carol takes it and uses what appears to be an M16A4 rifle fitted with a Magpul MOE collapsible stock, low profile gas block, PMAG, sniper scope, and a TangoDown ACB-4 bipod. She uses the rifle to detonate a propane tank at Terminus in the episode. Both Carol (Melissa McBride) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) are seen carrying the rifle in "Strangers" (S5E02). The rifle also is seen in the hands of Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Noah (Tyler James Williams) as well in "Consumed" (S5E06). In "Remember" (S5E12), Carol gives up her rifle. In "Forget" (S5E13), the rifle is seen briefly as part of the arsenal.

Rick's Buried Bag of Guns

In Season 5's premiere "No Sanctuary" (S5E01), the bag of weapons buried by Rick is recovered at the end of the episode. Earlier in the episode, when questioned about the contents of the bag, Rick tells Gareth it had an "AK-47, .44 Magnum, automatic weapons, nightscope, compound bow, and a machete with a red handle." It appears that the majority of the weapons in the bag were carried by the Claimers in Season 4. Among the weapons seen carried by the group are a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine, Remington 870 Wingmaster, an Uzi, and an WASR-10/63 in addition to Rick's own Colt Python. In "Strangers" (S5E02), Michonne carries Tony's .44 Mag S&W 29 snub which presumably was in the bag. Various boxes of ammunition from the bag are visible on the table in "Four Walls and a Roof" (S5E03).

Alexandria Arsenal

Beginning in "Forget" (S5E13), the Alexandria community is seen storing their firearms in a special room in one of the houses. The majority of the rifles and shotguns are stored on gun racks. Carol also notices that several boxes in the storage area are filled with handguns of various calibers, from which she takes a Colt Detective Special, Walther P22, and a CZ 82.
