::Also, I don't think that "Volkssturmgewehr" only applies to auto-loading rifles; the word is composed of "Volkssturm" and "gewehr" (i.e. "people's storm rifle"/"rifle of the people's storm", since the Volkssturm were a late-war national militia/irregular force), not "Volks" and "sturmgewehr". From what I've seen, it seems like "Volksgewehr" and "Volkssturmgewehr" are more or less interchangeable. [[User:Pyr0m4n14c|Pyr0m4n14c]] ([[User talk:Pyr0m4n14c|talk]]) 17:41, 31 October 2021 (EDT)

Volksgewehr and Volkssturmgewehr

I have a question. All rifles of the "Volksgewehr" family are listed on the site. Add "Volkssturmgewehr" rifle family to the site. "Volkssturmgewehr" series can include "Gustloff Volkssturmgewehr", "Rheinmetall VG45", "HIW Volkssturmkarabiner" etc?

"Volksgewehr" is a bolt action rifle, "Volkssturmgewehr" is a semi auto rifle.

There is a Gustloff Volkssturmgewehr page. Some of the related weapons are also found on Call of Duty: WWII's page if you use that as reference.--AgentGumby (talk) 17:13, 31 October 2021 (EDT)
