The A-3 and the A-7 are actually F-8 Crusaders,which had four Colt Mk 12s. Either way, A-7s of this time period were armed with Colt Mk 12s as well. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:37, 2 April 2016 (EDT)

Italian fantasy weapons
I've been going through all sorts of photos of 1960s ray guns and toy weapons trying to find out what O'Brien/Oberon's fembots are packing. Looks like one of those ping pong ball shooting weapons however it looks like the Italians soup up some of the toy weapons by adding to them as this demonstrates from the 1966 Star Pilot / 2+5: Missione Hydra using the Mattel automatic cap firing Dick Tracy/Guerilla Fighter/Planet of the Apes Thompson Foofbun (talk) 20:25, 16 April 2016 (EDT)
