Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge is a 1991 horror film from Full Moon Productions and the third instalment in their signature Puppet Master franchise. The film tells the backstory of the titular puppet master, Andre Toulon. Set in Berlin in 1941 (retconning the date of Toulon's death from the first film), the film focus's on a Nazi program to reanimate dead soldiers to serve as living shields for living soldiers in the frontline. When the Nazi's discover both Toulon and his ability to give life to inanimate puppets, they attempt to steal his work, murder his wife, and force him to help with their experiments. Toulon escapes, and plots to take revenge on the Nazi officers with the help of his living puppets.
Released in October of 1991 as a direct-to-video prequel to the first two Puppet Master films, Toulon's Revenge marked a change in tone for the series, turning the puppets from slasher-style villains into much more sympathetic anti-heros and expounding on their various origins.
The following weapons were used in the film Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge:
Handguns
Walther P38
Most of the Nazi officers in the movie are armed with Walther P38 pistols.
Luger P08
One of the Nazi soldiers seen during Major Kraus's raid on Toulon's home is armed with a Luger P08 pistol.
Submachine Guns
MP40
A few Nazi soldiers are seen armed with MP40 submachine guns.
Rifles
Karabiner 98k
Most of the Nazi soldiers are seen carrying Karabiner 98k battle rifles.
Gewehr 41(W)
A few soldiers are seen with Gewehr 41(W) battle rifles during the film's third act.
Other
Six Shooter's guns
As with the last film, this one introduces a new puppet: Six Shooter. Fashioned after an American "Wild West" cowboy, Six Shooter sports six arms, each one armed with a miniature revolver. Despite being (presumably) carved from wood, these weapons are capable of firing repetedly just like the Colt Single Action Army revolver they're modeled after, presumably due to the same magic that animates the puppet to begin with. They are shown to be quite lethal despite their size on several occasions.
