The Mauser 1918 T-Gewehr, was the world's first anti-tank rifle, it was used at the end of World War 1 in February of 1918, and is very rare to find today. The .525 round was originally developed to be used in a new Maxim machine gun known as the MG18. The .525 round was influential in the development of the .50 BMG round for the Browning M2.
