Major Crimes - Season 5 (2016-2017)

The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series Major Crimes:


Handguns

Glock 17

Lt. Mike Tao (Michael Paul Chan) continues to carry a Glock 17.

3rd Generation Glock 17 - 9x19mm. Note the finger grooves, thumb reliefs, and accessory rail on the frame, which differentiate it from the older model.

Glock 22

The .40 caliber Glock 22, the current standard-issue handgun for probationary officers of the LAPD, is carried by uniformed officers in Season 4. The pistol also appears to be carried by Detective Amy Sykes (Kearran Giovanni) in Season 5.

Beretta 92FS

Detective Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) continues to carry the LAPD's previously standard issue Beretta 92FS as his onduty sidearm. Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) appears to have gone back to carrying the Beretta that he primarily carried in seasons of The Closer.

Smith & Wesson 6906

Lieutenant Andy Flynn (Anthony John Denison) carries a Smith & Wesson 6906.

A Smith & Wesson 6906 pistol - 9x19mm. This is the screen used S&W 6906 in the movie The Usual Suspects.

Heckler & Koch HK416

LAPD SWAT officers are armed with Heckler & Koch HK416 rifles throughout the series.
