John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uses a Heckler & Koch P30L fitted with a custom compensator as his primary firearm through the film. He swaps it for a Glock 26 during the Red Circle Club shootout when the P30L runs out of ammunition. After escaping captivity, he most likely uses a second pistol or returns the first one, but later drops it anyway at the port before a hand-to-hand fight with Viggo in the film's climax. As it turns out in John Wick: Chapter 2, Wick returns both guns at the end of the movie.

John Wick is a 2014 action thriller starring Keanu Reeves as the title character, a retired hitman who seeks vengeance against a mobster's son and his cronies for stealing his car and killing his puppy, a final gift from his recently deceased wife. The film was directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch (both were veteran stunt and action coordinators in the film business prior to their feature film directing debut here, although Leitch is uncredited). Reeves would return for several sequels: 2017's John Wick: Chapter 2, 2019's John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, and 2023's John Wick: Chapter 4. The Continental: From the World of John Wick, a prequel series, premiered on the streaming service Peacock in September of 2023.

The following weapons were used in the film John Wick:

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Handguns

Heckler & Koch P30L

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uses a Heckler & Koch P30L fitted with a custom compensator as his primary firearm through the film. He swaps it for a Glock 26 during the Red Circle Club shootout when the P30L runs out of ammunition. After escaping captivity, he most likely uses a second pistol or returns the first one, but later drops it anyway at the port before a hand-to-hand fight with Viggo in the film's climax. As it turns out in John Wick: Chapter 2, Wick returns both guns at the end of the movie.

Heckler & Koch P30L with a custom compensator, similar to the one used in the movie - 9x19mm Parabellum
Two Heckler & Koch P30L pistols are seen in John's hidden arsenal.
The gun lies on the bedside table while John prepares to defend his house.
Wick finishes off an assassin with his P30L.
He shoots through a glass panel.
One of Wick's pistols lies on his bed as he prepares to pay a visit to the Red Circle Club.
"Mr. Wick... Are you here on business, sir?"
He points the gun to the back of the head of his old friend and nightclub security guard Francis (Kevin Nash).
Upon arriving at the bathhouse, Wick opens fire on Iosef's guards.
John notices that Tarasov runs away.
During the fight in the VIP Room, Wick doesn't forget about reloading, which is quite often ignored in action movies.
Going to the second floor, he reloads the gun again.
Being shot, John Wick shoots Kuzma and Kirill, but the P30L quickly runs out.
During a shootout in a parking lot, Wick snatches his gun when his rifle runs out of ammunition.
Attacking Iosef's safe house, John uses his P30L in addition to the sniper rifle.
During the final standoff at the docks, Wick fires his sidearm while driving his new Dodge Charger.

Glock 26

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) also uses a Glock 26 compact pistol, notably during the Red Circle night club shootout as his backup gun, shooting several guards in the bathhouse.

Two Glock 26 pistols are seen in John's hidden arsenal.
One of Wick's Glock pistols lies on his bed as he prepares to pay a visit to the Red Circle Club.
Wick draws his backup gun...
...and aims it at Iosef at the bathhouse.
However, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is forced to deal with several other guards.
Chasing Iosef Wick briefly switches back to the Glock on the second floor.
Falling from a great height, John snatches his backup gun and shoots Kirill.

Browning Hi Power

Marcus (Willem Dafoe) carries a Browning Hi-Power as his preferred sidearm but never uses it. One of Tarasov's henchmen disarms Marcus near the end of the film.

Marcus holds his Hi-Power in a scene from the trailer. Note the larger dovetailed sights.
Marcus cleans his Browning Hi-Power. Note the second Hi-Power in foreground.
Tarasov's goon disarms Marcus of his sidearm before the meeting.

Walther P99

Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) uses a Walther P99 with a silencer throughout the film. John (Keanu Reeves) also briefly holds the gun during the confrontation.

Walther P99 - 9x19mm Parabellum
Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) enters Wick's hotel room with her suppressed Walther P99.
She tries to kill John, but he dodges.
He aims Perkins' own Walther at her trying to get information.
Toward the end of the film, Perkins fires her P99 sans suppressor at Marcus' place.

Salient Arms International Glock 17

The high rank members of Tarasov Mob, namely their leader Viggo Tarasov (Michael Nyqvist), his son Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen), and head of security Kirill (Daniel Bernhardt), are armed with Salient Arms International Glock 17 Tier 1 pistols throughout the film. During the final confrontation, Viggo gives his SAI Glock to his counselor Avi (Dean Winters) to use against Wick.

Salient Arms International Glock 17 Tier 1 Model - 9x19 Parabellum
Kirill fires his SAI Glock at Wick at the Red Circle night club.
Trying to escape from Wick, Iosef (Alfie Allen) runs out onto the dance floor with his gun.
Kirill reloads his Glock during the firefight at the parking lot.
Kirill (Daniel Bernhardt) fires his SAI Glock at Wick.
"Good luck." - Viggo hands his SAI Glock to Avi.
Avi (Dean Winters) puts the gun down after the first shot.

Glock 17

Assassins sent to John Wick's house are armed with Glock 17 pistols with fitted with tactical flashlights and suppressors. Iosef's security detail at the Red Circle Club is armed with Glock 17 pistols during the shootout with John. Two more henchmen guarding Viggo's vault at the church are armed with pistols. The Continental guards are armed with suppressed pistols during the meeting between Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) and Winston (Ian McShane).

Glock 17 (Generation 3) - 9x19mm Parabellum
An assassin searches for John at his house.
One of Charlie's cleaners picks up the Glock from the floor during the cleanup.
They wrap all the evidence in plastic and take it out of the house.
One of the Red Circle guards tries to pull a Glock 17 on John Wick.
The other guard's gun is seen during the fight with Wick on the dance floor.
Nicholai (Tait Fletcher) with the Glock in his hands looks for Wick on the second floor.
A guard named Kuzma (Keith Jardine) is also armed with a gun.
A couple of Viggo's henchmen (Dean Neistat in the background) hold their Glocks at the church. Notice how there is a visible seam on top of the slide, which suggests this is a stunt replica.
Wick throws henchman's Glock away.
Continental guards point guns at a violator of the Continental Hotel rules.

Glock 17 (FAB Defense KPOS G1)

Several of Viggo Tarasov's henchmen use full-auto Glock 17s fitted with a FAB Defense KPOS G1 carbine conversion kit, FAB Defense FGGK-S folding grip and extended magazine.

The gangster on the right falls down shot holding a KPOS G1 Glock.
A henchman named Alexander (Alexander Frekey) holds the gun and covers Iosef when the shooting starts.
One of Tarasov's thugs fires at Wick at the docks.
Another henchman fires his Glock carbine at Wick.

Glock 19

Several of Viggo Tarasov's henchmen are armed with the more compact Glock 19 pistols in the second half of the film. Marcus (Willem Dafoe) snatches the gun from one of them and shoots several times.

Glock 19 (3rd Generation) - 9x19mm Parabellum
One of Tarasov's henchmen holds his Glock 19 as Wick finishes him off.
Marcus snatches the Glock 19 from Viggo's man...
...and shoots Tarasov's thug, who tries to pull his own Glock 19 on Marcus.

Beretta 92FS

Tarasov's henchman named Gregori (Omer Barnea) pulls a Beretta 92FS when Aurelio (John Leguizamo) punches Iosef.
