Jeremy Irons is an English actor who has appeared in such films as Appaloosa, The Mission, and Die Hard with a Vengence in addition to his role as Alfred Pennyworth in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. He also appeared as Claus von Bülow in the 1990 film Reversal of Fortune, a role for which he received the 1991 Academy Award for Best Actor. He also is the father of actor Max Irons.
