His Name Is Sukhe-Bator (Russian: Yego zovut Sukhe-Bator, Mongolian ᠰᠦᠬᠡᠪᠠᠭᠠᠲᠤᠷ) is a 1942 Soviet-Mongolian B&W biographical movie about the leader of the Mongolian revolution of 1921 Damdin Sukhbaatar (Sukhe-Bator in Russian), directed by Aleksandr Zarkhi and Iosif Kheifits.
The following weapons were used in the film His Name Is Sukhe-Bator (Yego zovut Sukhe-Bator):
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revovlers are used throughout the movie by various Red Mongols, including Khorloogiin Choibalsan (Gelik-Dordji).
Reichsrevolver M1879
Several Red Mongols carry Reichsrevolver M1879 revolvers.
Unidentified revolvers
Gombo (Vladimir Gribkov), one of Sukhbaatar's comrades-in-arms, carries a revolver (or two different revolvers) that is seen only partially. What is seen resembles such revolvers as Lefaucheux Model 1858 or Warnant.
Pistols
Mauser C96
Damdin Sukhbaatar (Lev Sverdlin), Khorloogiin Choibalsan (Gelik-Dordji) and some other Red Mongols carry Mauser C96 pistols. Mausers are also used by Baron Ungern (Nikolay Cherkasov), Cossack officer Sipaga (Ivan Bobrov), Ungern's Mongol ally Bair-Gun (Chimidiin Tsaveen) and Chinese officers.
M1911
A Chinese officer holds an M1911 pistol.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891 Infantry
Red Mongols and Soviet Red Army men are armed with Mosin Nagant M1891 rifles, mostly Infantry model.
Arisaka Type 30/Type 38
Chinese soldiers and Bogd Gegeen's Mongols carry Arisaka Type 30 or Type 38 rifles.
Arisaka Type 30/Type 38 Carbine
In one scene Damdin Sukhbaatar's wife Yanjmaa (uncredited) carries an Arisaka Type 30 or Type 38 carbine.
Unidentified rifles
Machine Guns
Maxim M1910 and/or M1910/30
Maxim machine guns are used by Red Mongols, Soviet Red troops and Baron Ungern's army. Most Maxims have corrugated water jackets so they are early M1910s or M1910/30s. At least one Maxim has smooth water jacket that allows to identify it as an M1910.
Trivia
Type 41 75 mm Mountain Gun
What appears to be a Japanese Type 41 (Model 1908) 75 mm mountain gun is seen in Red Mongols field camp.
