Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is the ninth video game in the GTA series. It serves as a prequel to Grand Theft Auto III and is available for the PSP and PS2.
The following weapons appear in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories:
Handguns
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the main pistol in the game. It holds seventeen rounds, but has low damage. It is carried by most gangsters and the Liberty City Police Department.
Colt Python
The Colt Python is the most powerful handgun in the game, but has a low ammunition capacity of 6 rounds. It can usually kill a person in one shot, with the exception of SWAT, FBI, and US Army personnel.
Shotguns
Over and Under Shotgun
The basic shotgun in the game. Found in all LCPD police cars. It is chrome and functions like a pump shotgun, however.
Ithaca 37 "Stakeout"
The Ithaca 37 Stakeout, customized with a shorter barrel and magazine tube, heat shield, and folding vertical foregrip, returns from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, in which it was originally an homage to Miami Vice.
Franchi SPAS-12
The most powerful shotgun in the game. It has a fast rate of fire with good damage and a small ammo capacity of 7 rounds.
Submachine Guns
Intratec TEC-9
This weapon has a slightly low rate of fire compared to other SMGs in the game and moderate damage, but has a high capacity 50 round magazine.
MAC-10
This weapon has a high rate of fire, but somewhat low damage. It's a small upgrade from the TEC-9.
IMI Uzi
This gun has moderate damage and a very fast rate of fire. Used primarily by the LCPD SWAT team.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
The most powerful SMG in the game. Able to fire at long ranges, along with a high rate of fire and a moderate ammunition capacity of 30 rounds (though the weapon model shows a 15-round magazine). Used by FBI agents and US Army soldiers.
Assault Rifles
AK-47
Carried by some gang members and most of the hitmans, it features a good rate of fire and excellent stopping power.
Colt M733
The most powerful assault rifle in the game. It has a high rate of fire and damage. Called the 'M4' in the game.
Sniper Rifles
Remington 700
The basic bolt-action sniper rifle in the game. Has good damage, but fires only one bullet at a time.
Heckler & Koch SR9(T)
The SR9(T) is the most powerful sniper rifle in the game. Comes with a 7 round magazine (though the real weapon only takes 5. 10, or 20 round magazines), and a laser magnifying scope (Which is more accurate in the long run). Can destroy a car with a whole magazine. Appears to be modelled after the fake SR9(T) from Sniper. There is also a non functioning suppressor on the rifle.
Heavy Weapons
RPG-7 Rocket Launcher
Extremely effective against helicopters and pretty much anything else.
M60 machine gun
Highly effective machine gun with a 100 round capacity. Can easily take down vehicles and can kill a person in one shot.
Hand held GAU-19
Arguably the most powerful weapon in the game. Extreme rapid rate of fire and damage.
Flamethrower
A hand held flamethrower that scorches anyone in front of it. It has a medium-long range.
Others
Colt M1911A1
Not a gameplay weapon, but a Colt M1911 is seen carried by Ray Machowski in the mission "Crazy 69".
