Frank Darabont is an American writer/director who is well known for directing feature film adaptations of several works of Stephen King, including The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist, and The Green Mile. He also is responsible for the initial television adaptation of The Walking Dead. He frequently casts the same actors in his films and series, including Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, and Jeffrey DeMunn.
