Captain Marvel is the 2019 MCU feature film adaptation of the Marvel Comics character. Brie Larson stars as the title character, a super-powered being whose memories reveal that she might have had a past on the planet Earth. Set primarily in the year 1995, the film also features Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, at an early point in their SHIELD careers. The film was the final feature in "Phase Three" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, before culimnating in Avengers: Endgame.
