The sidearm of choice for Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) in Seasons 1-3 is the SIG-Sauer P228.
+
Beginning in Season 1 and until Season 3, the sidearm of choice for Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) is the SIG-Sauer P228. The first time he uses the pistol is in "Identity" (S1E02), when he pulls it on the con artist Quentin King (Mark Pellegrino) to talk him into giving him full access to his bank accounts.
 +

 +
In "False Flag" (S1E10), Michael's SIG is disabled by a female assassin, who removes the trigger bar spring without him knowing, forcing him to improvise one with a bobby pin given to him by Fiona. Michael specifically identifies the weapon as a "SIG Sauer P228" during his voice-over.

Heroin importer Glenn Harrick (Johnny Messner) pulls a P228 when stalking Michael through the corridor of his boat in the season finale "Loose Ends, Part 2".  His backup weapon is another P228, holstered in his boot, which is pulled in his fight with Michael.

The stainless Jericho 941 R is a very common sidearm used by bad guys in the show, especially the head bad guy in various episodes. (It's almost like what the Infinity is to the series Heroes.) In "Family Business" (S1E05), the boss Eli Zamar (Joel Swetow) carries one, as does his son Ilan (Paul Gutrecht).  Fiona recognizes Eli's weapon as a "Desert Eagle 9mm with combat grips", identifying him as an ex-Mossad officer.  In "False Flag" (S1E10), Evelyn (Lucy Lawless) uses a suppressed Jericho.

Colt Officer's ACP
The stainless Jericho 941 is a very common sidearm used by bad guys in the show, especially the head bad guy in various episodes. (It's almost like what the Infinity is to the series Heroes.) In "Family Business" (S1E05), the boss Eli Zamar (Joel Swetow) carried one, which Fiona recognizes as a "Desert Eagle 9mm with combat grips".  In "False Flag" (S1E10), Evelyn (Lucy Lawless) uses a suppressed Jericho.
+
A Colt Officer's ACP with Novak-style sights, flared magwell, slanted slide serrations, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and ambidextrous safety. is seen many times throughout the series. It appears to be an Aegis. It is first seen in the hands of con artist Quentin King (Mark Pellegrino) in "Identity" (S1E02).  Michael describes it as having extended controls and a beveled magazine well, which shows how serious the criminal is. The competition style extended frame safety is noticeable in one brief shot.

Burn Notice Season 1 (2007) - Michael is holding a Smith & Wesson 5906.

The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the series Burn Notice:

Pistols

SIG-Sauer P228

Beginning in Season 1 and until Season 3, the sidearm of choice for Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) is the SIG-Sauer P228. The first time he uses the pistol is in "Identity" (S1E02), when he pulls it on the con artist Quentin King (Mark Pellegrino) to talk him into giving him full access to his bank accounts.

Michael puts his P228 to the chest of con artist Quentin King (Mark Pellegrino) in "Identity" (S1E02).
In "Old Friends" (S1E04), Michael aims his P228 during an ambush.
In "Old Friends" (S1E04), Michael holds his P228 while at his residence.
In "Unpaid Debts" (S1E06), Michael aims his P228.

In "False Flag" (S1E10), Michael fires his repaired P228 at a propane tank with an open flame attached to it.
In "False Flag" (S1E10), Michael aims his P228 at the assassin.

SIG-Sauer (Non Gun)

Fiona also fires what appears to be a SIG in "Loose Ends, Part II" (S1E12), but this appears to be a Non Gun.

Fiona fires the SIG tossed to her by Michael in "Loose Ends, Part II" (S1E12). The SIG here appears to be a non-gun version.

SIG-Sauer P226 (Two-tone Slide)

The SIG-Sauer P226 with a two-tone slide is a frequent weapon seen in the series. In "Pilot" (S1E01), this SIG is carried by one of the Nigerian mercenaries escorting Michael.

In "Pilot" (S1E01), a Nigerian mercenary on the right holds a (two-tone) SIG-Sauer P226 on Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) while escorting him to the hotel.

SIG-Sauer P226 (Nickel)

A nickel SIG-Sauer P226 is used by the kidnapper Reyes (Steven Bauer) in "Hard Bargain" (S1E09). Michael takes a nickel SIG off diamond fence Cristo (Alfonso Diluca) in "Wanted Man" (S1E08).

In "Wanted Man" (S1E08), a bodyguard draws his SIG-Sauer P226 on Mike when he takes his boss Henderson (Brett Cullen) hostage.

SIG-Sauer P226 SL Sport II

A rare SIG-Sauer P226 SL Sport II is seen briefly in the hands of Boris, the wannabe warlord (Dimitri Diatchenko) in "Pilot" (S1E01).

Beretta 92FS

Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell) carries a Beretta 92FS as his personal sidearm throughout the series. The Beretta has also seen use by various other characters throughout the series' run, in both suppressed and unsuppressed forms. In "Wanted Man" (S1E08), bounty hunter Wayne Ray (Jeff Chase) carries a Beretta 92FS. Sam notably dual-wields a Beretta and a Beretta Inox in "Hard Bargain" (S1E09).
