Detroit Police Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) once again carries a Browning Hi-Power as his standard sidearm. In contrast to the first two films, in which the weapons were provided by Stembridge Gun Rentals, the weapons in Beverly Hills Cop III were provided by Gibbons Ltd., and so a different gun was used than the preceding films. The Browning Hi-Power from this movie was eventually inherited by Independent Studio Services after they acquired most of Gibbons Ltd.'s Title I firearms, and finally sold in a 2018 Heritage Auctions listing.

The trigger guard is frontally grooved and curved at the bottom and the Firestar M-series had black factory barrel and guide rod (visible when the weapon is fired in the second screencap).

Beverly Hills Cop III is the third installment in the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy. The 1994 sequel, which was directed by John Landis, finds Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) in Beverly Hills once again when a Detroit officer is killed by gunmen linked to a Southern California amusement park.

The following weapons were used in the film Beverly Hills Cop III:

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Pistols

Browning Hi-Power

Ellis De Wald (Timothy Carhart) clears the chamber of Axel's Hi-Power...
...and returns it to Axel.

Beretta 92F

The Beretta 92F is carried by Detroit Police Inspector Douglas Todd (Gilbert R. Hill) and Detective Levine (Jon Tenney).

Beretta 92FS Inox

The Beretta 92FS Inox is first seen in the hands of Detroit Police detective Giolito (Joey Travolta) during the shootout at the illegal chop shop. Holloway (Lindsey Lee Ginter) also carries a Beretta 92FS Inox as well, sometimes suppressed. Twice in the film, Holloway's Inox is used by Ellis De Wald (Timothy Carhart).

A Detroit cop is briefly seen with an M1911A1 in the illegal chop shop.

Glock 17

U.S. Secret Service Agent Steve Fulbright (Stephen McHattie) and his men carry 2nd Generation Glock 17s. At the end of the film, Foley briefly uses Fulbright's Glock. Another Glock 17 is also carried by one of the Detroit police detectives at the beginning of the movie.

Star Firestar M-45

Ellis De Wald (Timothy Carhart) uses a nickel Star Firestar M-45 pistol in the "Land of Dinosaurs" ride shootout. Note, by looking at the screencaps, as the characteristics coincide: completely side ejection port, back finger grooves, wide sub-compact frame and huge .45 bore. The trigger guard is frontally grooved and curved at the bottom and the Firestar M-series had black factory barrel and guide rod (visible when the weapon is fired in the second screencap).

Note the finger grooves are visible in this screenshot.
