The Bergmann MG 15 n. A. (also known as the LMG 15) is a German light machine gun, designed by prominent gun designers Theodor Bergmann and Louis and Hugo Schmeisser. It is a futher development of heavy water-cooled MG 10. A lighter air-cooled version appeared in 1915; it was known as MG 15 n. A. where "n. A." means "neuer Art" ("new model"). About 5,000 were manufactured and used by German troops mostly on Eastern and Palestine fronts.
