In the fifth season, Morgan's and Alicia's groups reunite for a united mission to help everyone in need. After being tricked by one of the survivors, the group finds themselves in very dangerous territory and are forced to find a way to escape as soon as possible to get revenge on the liar. However, it turns out that behind him are more powerful people who are trying to subdue the group. The season is directed by Michael Satrazemis, Ron Underwood, Sharat Raju and others, consists of sixteen episodes and was premiered on June 2, 2019 on AMC.

Arsenal Р-М01
A power plant manager named Grace Mukherjee (Karen David) is armed with a Bulgarian Arsenal Р-М01 when she meets Morgan in "The Hurt That Will Happen" (S5E02). Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) suddenly appears and takes the gun away, but then throws it back to Grace during a hunt for radioactive walkers.
Beretta 84
Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) aims a Beretta 84 at Logan's men who take over the Wittington's Denim Company factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is used by Dwight (Austin Amelio) in "Humbug's Gulch" (S5E03).
Browning Hi-Power
Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) uses a Browning Hi-Power with black grips as his main sidearm throughout the season. The first time he pulls it out of the holster in "Here to Help" (S5E01) after noticing that the factory where Morgan's group made a settlement has been taken over by Logan's crew.
Glock 17
Sarah Rabinowitz (Mo Collins) uses a Glock 17 as her main sidearm throughout the season. She points it at Logan's men who take over the Wittington's Denim Company factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Philadelphia Derringer
A Philadelphia Derringer is found in a locker in "Humbug's Gulch" (S5E03). The derringer is used by June (Jenna Elfman).
Revolvers
Colt Walker
A Colt Walker revolver is found in a locker in "Humbug's Gulch" (S5E03). The revolver is used by both Dwight and John in the episode.
Single Action Army
John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) continues to use his paired custom nickel-plated Cimarron-maded Single Action Army revolvers with the initials "JD" engraved on grips during the season. John and June (Jenna Elfman) shoot walkers after the plane crash in "Here to Help" (S5E01). John gives one of his revolvers to a wounded Luciana (Danay Garcia) for self-defense in "The Hurt That Will Happen" (S5E02).
Rifles/Carbines
AKM
A member of Logan's crew (Alexandra Payne) is armed with an AKM (or similar AK rifle) at the gates the captured factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Colt M16A1
A member of Logan's crew (Mark Meir) is armed with a Colt M16A1 guarding the entrance to the captured factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
Henry Classic Lever Action
A boy named Dylan (Cooper Dodson) aims a heavily worn Henry Classic Lever Action while hunting a deer at the beginning of "Here to Help" (S5E01)". When walkers appear, the rifle is taken by Max (Ethan Suess), Dylan's brother, and both run away. Later in the episode, the gun also appears in the hands of their sister Annie (Bailey Gavulic). The gun was incorrectly called as a Mossberg Model 464 by the Xtreme Props gunsmiths.
SKS
Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades) points an SKS at Victor Strand in "The Hurt That Will Happen" (S5E02).
Winchester Model 1873
Two Winchester Model 1873 rifles are found in a locker in "Humbug's Gulch" (S5E03). Both of the rifles are used by June and John to take out the walkers in the episode.
Shotguns
Winchester Model 101
Wendell (Daryl Mitchell) aims a chopped down Winchester Model 101 at Logan's men who take over the Wittington's Denim Company factory in "Here to Help" (S5E01).
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
A 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun is used by John in "Humbug's Gulch" (S5E03).
