The following weapons were used in the film Carve Her Name With Pride:
High Standard HDM
During training with the Special Operations Executive, Violette Szabo (Virginia McKenna) test-fires a High Standard HDM, a pistol used by many other covert agents at the time.
Walther PPK
After a routine bridge-bombing exercise, SOE agent Lilian Rolfe (Anne Leon) pulls a Walther PPK on their training sergeant.
Mauser Gewehr 1898
A French Resistance agent near Limoges uses a Mauser Gewehr 1898 to kill a German soldier, bringing attention to Jacques and Violette.
Smith & Wesson 4th Model
The French Resistance captain Jacques Dufour (Maurice Ronet) carries a Smith & Wesson 4th Model, which he uses when he engages a German soldier in a gunfight near Limoges.
Sten Mk II
Like many SOE operatives (and her real-life counterpart), Violette (Virginia McKenna) carries a Sten Mk II (in this case fitted with a Mk V type front sight), reloading it during the gun battle and firing it until it runs out of ammunition.
Luger P08
The German officers all carry the Luger P08 as a personal sidearm, as does the motorcycle soldier that gets into a gunfight with Jacques.
MG42
The German armored cars that Jacques and Violette attack have MG42 machine guns mounted on them.
Karabiner 98k
Almost all of the German soldiers carry Karabiner 98k bolt-action rifles.
MP40
Some of the Germans chasing Jacques and Violette have MP40 submachine guns. The execution squad at Ravensbruck concentration camp uses MP40s.
