Zack Snyder's Justice League is the long-awaited extended version of the 2017 DC superhero film, which WB released on their streaming service HBO MAX on March 18th, 2021, after almost four years of fan lobbying on social media,. Director Zack Snyder restores his original vision for the feature, as this new version of the film radically alters the tone, omitting much of the theatrical cut's humor. Added cast members not present in the theatrical cut include Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Harry Lennix as J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter, Jared Leto as the Joker, and Ray Porter as Darkseid.
