Rick reluctantly carries his Colt Python and eventually draws it in Season's 4 premiere "30 Days Without An Accident" (S4E01). Rick carries and checks his Python in "Infected" (S4E02). Due to punching Tyreese in the face and injuring his hand in "Isolation" (S4E03), Rick wields the Colt Python left handed and equips his holster to his left side for the remainder of the season until "Us" (S4E15). Carl Grimes ([[Chandler Riggs]]) also holds the Python in the mid-season premiere "After" (S4E09) and carries it in "Claimed" (S4E11). Rick puts his Colt Python in a bag before burying it in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16). |

The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the television series The Walking Dead:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Revolvers
Colt Python
Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) continues to carry his six-inch barreled Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver in Season 4. Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) also holds the Python in the mid-season premiere "After" (S4E09) and carries it in "Claimed" (S4E11). Rick puts his Colt Python in a bag before burying it in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16).
Colt Official Police
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) continues to carry a Colt Official Police as a back-up firearm to his crossbow where he uses it to fend off several walkers in Season's 4 premiere "30 Days Without an Accident" (S4E01). Because the revolver is holstered on Daryl's (formerly Merle's) bike, it was left behind at the prison after "Too Far Gone" (S4E08).
Colt Detective Special
In "Indifference" (S4E04), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) is seen carrying a Colt Detective Special as her main firearm, tucked in her waistband which was previously carried by Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies) in Season 2 and 3. Carol is notably seen using the DS in "The Grove" (S4E14). Tyreese (Chad Coleman) also is seen with the revolver in the episode.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB
In "Indifference" (S4E04), Rick hands off a Smith & Wesson Model 10 Heavy Barrel to survivor Sam (Robin Lord Taylor). The Governor (David Morrissey) finds a Model 10 in a bathtub in "Live Bait" (S4E06).
Smith & Wesson Model 36 (3" barrel)
Noris (Jan Harrelson), survivor in the infected prison wing, attempts to use what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolver, but is attacked by a walker in "Internment" (S4E05). This also appears to be the revolver Beth uses at the beginning of "Inmates" (S4E10).
Smith & Wesson Model 29 Snub
What appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 29 snub nose with wood grips is seen in the hands of both the "Claimer" Tony (Davi Jay) and Michonne in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16).
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
In Season 4's premiere "30 Days Without An Accident" (S4E01), Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) both carry Beretta 92FSs. Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) continues to carry a Beretta 92FS as his main firearm in Season 4. Rick is seen returning the pistol to him in "Infected" (S4E02). Bob Stookey carries a Beretta as his personal weapon during the season, possibly his former sidearm as an Army-EMT, a M9. A survivor has a holstered Beretta 92FS on his belt in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). Carl fires his Beretta until it runs dry in "After" (S4E09). Bob fires his Beretta at Walkers in "Inmates" (S4E10) and "Us" (S4E15). In "Alone" (S4E13), Sasha uses Bob's Beretta during a fight with the walkers in the mist. Bob carries his Beretta 92FS until he loses it upon arrival to Terminus in "Us" (S4E15). While at Terminus, Gareth (Andrew J. West) is seen with a Beretta 92FS in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16).
Beretta 92SB (Nickel)
The Governor (David Morrissey) continues to carry a nickel finish Beretta 92SB as his sidearm in Season 4. During "Live Bait" (S4E06), he gives the pistol away, and uses a Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver he found in a bathtub. Lilly Chambler (Audrey Marie Anderson) is also seen handing the pistol back to him in the same episode. The Governor uses his Beretta to gun down a few walkers while intentionally causing noise in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08). Lilly also uses the Beretta in the same episode.
Colt MK IV Series 70
Rick finds a Colt MK IV Series 70 while digging in the earth in Season 4's premiere "30 Days Without an Accident" (S4E01).
Desert Eagle Mark I
Sgt. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) carries a Desert Eagle Mark I in a belt holster and fires it in "Claimed" (S4E11). This is clearly a .357 Magnum model as evidenced by the diameter of the bore.
Glock 17
Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) continues to use a Glock 17 as his sidearm in Season 4's premiere "30 Days Without An Accident" (S4E01). Scenes with Glenn's Glock, the gap on the rail is farther indicating it's a Glock 17 than 19. Mitch (Kirk Acevedo) carries a Glock 17 as his sidearm in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). Mitch pulls his Glock 17 on Hershel and Michonne in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08) in an deleted scene. Glenn carries his Glock in a leg holster in "Inmates" (S4E10), "Claimed" (S4E11), and "Us" (S4E15) before losing it at Terminus.
Glock 19
Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson) also continues to carry a Glock 19 in a belt holster in Season 4. Beth takes a Glock off a walker in "Alone" (S4E13). In "Us" (S4E15), due to a continuity error, the Glock pistol used by Glenn to take down the walkers in the tunnel is a Non Gun Glock 19 instead of his Glock 17.
Heckler & Koch P7M13
Dr. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) uses a Heckler & Koch P7M13 in "Us" (S4E15).
Heckler & Koch P9S
Rick hands off a Heckler & Koch P9S to survivor Ana (Brina Palencia) in "Indifference" (S4E04). Lilly Chambler (Audrey Marie Anderson) also uses a P9S in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08).
Heckler & Koch USP
Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos) has two Heckler & Koch USPs with two-tone slides as her sidearms in Season 4.
Kimber Warrior
One of the Governor's men (Don Elmore) carries a Kimber Warrior in "Dead Weight" (S4E07) and "Too Far Gone" (S4E08).
SIG-Sauer P226
Tyreese (Chad Coleman) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 during the supply run in Season's 4 premiere "30 Days Without an Accident" (S4E01). Pete Dolgen (Enver Gjokaj) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm in "Dead Weight" (S4E07).
SIG-Sauer P228
In a continuity error to the two-tone H&K USPs, Rosita shoots a two-tone SIG-Sauer P228 in "Claimed" (S4E11).
Smith & Wesson 3913
Zach (Kyle Gallner) briefly uses a Smith & Wesson 3913 in Season 4's premiere "30 Days Without an Accident" (S4E01). A similar Smith & Wesson 3913 is seen again in "Isolation" (S4E03). It is most likely the same gun handled by Axel (Lew Temple) and Carol (Melissa McBride) from the past season and not the Ladysmith used by Andrea (Laurie Holden) and T-Dog (IronE Singleton) in past seasons, as the grip in Season 4 is black while the Ladysmith variant has white grips.
Smith & Wesson M&P
The Smith & Wesson M&P makes its first appearance in the series in Season 4 first carried by Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson) when she draws her Smith & Wesson M&P pistol while confronting the Governor in "Live Bait" (S4E06). She describes the pistol as a "fully loaded standard issue Smith & Wesson" as she was an Atlanta Police Academy Student. Alisha (Juliana Harkavy) is briefly given the M&P by Tara in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). Glenn is seen handling Tara's M&P pistol before giving it back to her to cover him and herself in "'Inmates" (S4E10). Mika Samuels (Kyla Kenedy) uses the Smith & Wesson M&P in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08) and "The Grove" (S4E14). One of the Governor's men also carries a Smith & Wesson M&P with a tan frame, most notably seen in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08). This also appears to be the same tan frame handgun carried by Mary (Denise Crosby) in "Us" (S4E15). Upon arrival to Terminus, Tara loses her own M&P and holster in "Us" (S4E15).
Smith & Wesson SW1911SC "E-Series"
A Smith & Wesson SW1911SC "E-Series" is the sidearm carried by Joe (Jeff Kober) in Season 4. Joe notably holds the pistol on Rick in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16). In the season's finale "A" (S4E16), Rick swaps his Colt Python for the SW1911SC and uses the pistol before losing it.
Walther P22
Tyreese carries a Walther P22 during the latter half of the season. Lizzie Samuels (Brighton Sharbino) also uses a Walther P22 in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08). In "Inmates" (S4E10), Tyreese gives the pistol to Mika to defend herself. Lizzie is also seen using it again in "The Grove" (S4E14). Carol handles the pistol in the same episode.
Walther P99
Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) continues to carry a Walther P99 in Season 4, notably in "Infected" (S4E02). She has her pistol holstered in "Inmates" (S4E10) and "Alone" (S4E13). Maggie fires her Walther P99 in "Us" (S4E15).
Rifles
Colt M4A1
The M4A1 is again seen used throughout Season 4, used by several characters. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) use M4A1 carbines in "Internment" (S4E05), to fend off several walkers. Alisha (Juliana Harkavy) also carries a M4A1 in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). Several characters from both the prison group and the Governor's group wield M4A1 in the mid-season finale "Too Far Gone" (S4E08). Glenn takes up an M4A1 before leaving the prison in "Inmates" (S4E10). In "Claimed" (S4E11), Dr. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) is firing an M4A1 wildly at some approaching walkers. The M4A1 that Porter uses appears to be a loaded with a 40-round PMAG magazine. An inhabitant of Terminus is seen using an M4 type carbine with a magpul stock and Eotech holosight in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16).
Colt M16A1
An inhabitant of Terminus (Michael Morrison) is seen with an M16A1 in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16).
Colt M16
In "Claimed" (S4E11), Tony (Davi Jay), the marauder who takes the bed Rick was previously sleeping on, is armed with an M16.
Colt Law Enforcement Model 6920
A Colt Law Enforcement Model 6920 fitted with MAGPUL furniture is used throughout Season 4. The rifle is seen in the hands of Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Beth (Emily Kinney).
Smith & Wesson M&P15
Mitch Dolgen (Kirk Acevedo) carries a custom Smith & Wesson M&P15 equipped with an EOTech holo sight, foregrip and Magpul 60-round magazine in "Dead Weight" (S4E07) and "Too Far Gone" (S4E08).
AR-15 "Dissipator"
Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) uses what appears to be AR-15-type rifle that appears to be a "Dissipator" carbine, fitted with an A2 buttstock and magpul PMAG 30 round magazine in the mid-season finale "Too Far Gone" (S4E08). Like many rifles in The Walking Dead, it has no sights, making it extremely hard to hit a moving target. Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green) is seen carrying the AR-15 in "Inmates" (S4E10) and "Alone" (S4E13). She fires the rifle at walkers in the tunnel in "Us" (S4E15).
Blackwater AR-15
One of the Governor's men (Vernon Swygert) is armed with what appears to be a Blackwater AR-15 in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08).
Mk 14 Mod 1 EBR
An Mk 14 Mod 1 EBR is handled by one of the inhabitants of Terminus (Jay Pearson) in Season 4's finale "A" (S4E16).
Steyr AUG A1
Phillip Blake, aka The Governor, carries a Steyr AUG A1 during a hunting trip in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). It is unknown if this is supposed to be the weapon he carried during the third season, since he wasn't seen with it in the previous episodes of Season 4 (though it is likely since it may have been left in the truck Martinez took from the Governor and ultimately ended up at the camp with). The weapon is likely meant to be a full-auto conversion of an AUG SA, a semi-automatic variant of the A1 which was imported to the US for civilian use before being banned in 1989. Fully-automatic AUGs are extremely rare in the United States, as unlike the M4A1 they are not military issue and are not used by any law enforcement entities apart from US Customs and Immigration Enforcement. The civilian variant of the AUG is the AUG A3 SA which has a newer design than the A1.

Uzi (Umarex .22)
One of the Governor's men (Don Elmore) uses what appears to be a suppressed Uzi in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08). Upon closer inspection, this weapon appears to be a Umarex .22 caliber version of the submachine gun with its long barrel that could be mistaken for a suppressor.

Daryl Dixon takes the shotgun from the elderly man, and gives it to Rick, who uses it until it runs out of ammo. In several episodes, Joe (Jeff Kober) carries a Remington 870 Wingmaster with the stock covered with rigging tape. Joe's shotgun is visible notably in "Alone" (S4E13), when he confronts Daryl as well as in "Us" (S4E15).
