Operation: Black Mesa is a fan remake of Half-Life’s expansions Opposing Force and Blue Shift for the Source engine. It is developed by Tripmine Studios, a different team from the developers of Black Mesa, the remake of the original Half-Life.
Both reimagined campaigns will be available within the same game. The Opposing Force remake uses the "Operation: Black Mesa" name, whereas the Blue Shift reimagining is titled Guard Duty.

Glock 17C
The Glock 17C will be featured in the game.
Colt Anaconda
The Colt Anaconda is set to appear in the game.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX appears with a railed frame and a LAM (Laser Aiming Module) attached to it.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
The Franchi SPAS-12 will return in the game. Developers have stated that it will have an unfolded stock in the Operation: Black Mesa campaign, whereas in the Guard Duty campaign it will have a folded stock and an attached flashlight.
Automatic Weapons
Heckler & Koch MP5A5 with M203 grenade launcher
The Heckler & Koch MP5A5 is set to appear in the game. It is fitted with a shortened M203 grenade launcher that appears to have been based off an airsoft replica.
M4A1 with M203 grenade launcher
The M4A1 is seen in pre-release footage alongside the MP5. It has a 9" barreled M203 grenade launcher attached to it, and this one appears to be modeled after a real one.
FN M249 SAW
The FN M249 SAW is featured.
Sniper Rifles
M40A1
The M40A1 appears, depicted with a detachable box magazine like in Opposing Force.
Explosives
Mk 2 hand grenade
The Mk 2 hand grenade will make a return in the game.
