Stella Women’s Academy, High School Division Class C³ is a story of Yura Yamato in the prestigious Stella Women's Academy. Yura has a hard time making friends with the other girls around until she bumps into Rento Kirishima, who tries to recruit Yura into the school's airsoft club, C³ (derived from command, control, and communications). The club currently consists of Rento, Karila Hatsuse, Honoka Mutsu, Yachiyo Hinata, and Sonora Kashima (President and Yura's roommate). The story revolves around Yura's interactions with the C³ Club's members and activities.
Warning: Some descriptions and images are potential spoilers for the series, read at your own risk.
Note: As this anime is about the sport of airsoft, all of the guns in the show are airsoft replicas, with the exception of a Desert Eagle wielded by Sonora in the first episode.
The following weapons were used in the anime series Stella Women's Academy, High School Division Class C³:
Pistols
Glock 17
A Glock 17 was given to Yura Yamato by Sonora Kashima in Episode 2, and she uses it as her sidearm for the rest of the show. Why the pistol was stored while loaded with BBs, gas, a round in the chamber, and the hammer cocked, while sitting inside a broken violin remains a mystery.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
Sonora Kashima, president of the C³ Club, uses two chromed Desert Eagle Mark XIXs as her weapons of choice, and uses a real one while at a shooting competition in the US. She carries them in an unidentified leather horizontal shoulder holster. Meisei Girls' Academy team leader Rin Haruna uses two black Desert Eagles as her sidearms. Both Sonora and Rin have had their respective pairs of Desert Eagles since they were very young. Miyagi Mochizuki of Team KGB uses a chrome Desert Eagle with 10-inch barrel and custom rear sight, safety, and grips. This Desert Eagle, called the "Leon Custom" by Tokyo Marui, is a replica of a pistol from the Resident Evil series.
TM Strike Warrior
Karila Hatsuse uses a Tokyo Marui Strike Warrior as her sidearm. This custom M1911 is not based on any particular real pistol.
Colt Mk IV Series '70
Honoka Mutsu, a member of the C³ Club, uses a Colt Mk IV Series '70 as her secondary weapon.
TM Glock 26 Advance
Rento Kirishima uses a Tokyo Marui Glock 26 Advance as her sidearm, a fictional customized Glock 26 fitted with a compensator, rear target sight, and extended magazine. The same handgun also appears in Resident Evil: Degeneration.
SIG-Sauer P228
Yachiyo Hinata uses a SIG-Sauer P228 as her main sidearm. This is the only gun regularly used by a member of the C³ Club that is not made by Tokyo Marui; it is made by WE.
Springfield Armory XDᴹ-40 4.5
Meisei team's sidearm is the XDᴹ-40 4.5. It is issued out to all members of the team.
Beretta M9
Yura holds onto a Beretta M9 while participating in her first airsoft battle. This Tokyo Marui pistol has M9 trademarks, rather the 92FS's trademarks.
Glock 26
Akane Seto uses two red Glock 26s. They are part of Tokyo Marui's "Gindan" series, which are available in various bright colours along with the standard black and two-tone silver finishes. In real life however, these pistols would be a poor choice to bring to a game as primary weapons due to their extremely low velocity and range.
Walther PPK/S
Moe Seto, similar to her twin, uses a blue PPK/S, also part of Tokyo Marui's "Gindan" series. A black PPK/S can be seen on the back of a "Field Queen Contest" poster.
FN Five-seveN
The members of the Stella Women's Academy High School Regiment (as named by Rento) are all armed with FN Five-seveNs as their standard issue sidearm.
Hawkins 1748
Bonny Anne uses a flintlock pistol in the Field Queen Contest. While not particularly detailed, the Hawkins 1748 replica made by KTW is the only widespread airsoft flintlock pistol out there.
Beretta 92FS Brigadier "Samurai Edge"
The customized Beretta 92FS Brigadier from the Resident Evil series appears to be used by Kiku Nagato, who is cosplaying Jill Valentine (specifically her Resident Evil 3: Nemesis / Umbrella Chronicles outfit) in the Field Queen Contest. Tokyo Marui makes a whole line of customized guns from the Resident Evil series, which is known as Biohazard in Japan.
Mauser C96
Maiotome Ise uses a Mauser C96 in the Field Queen Contest.
Heckler & Koch USP
Though not especially detailed and incorrectly having forward cocking serrations (possibly to cover trademarks), a USP is seen in Sonora's drawer in Episode 1.
Colt M1908 Vest Pocket
A box for a Colt M1908 Vest Pocket is seen in Sonora's closet.
Beretta 93R
A Beretta 93R can be seen hanging on a gun wall in the club room.
TM Foliage Warrior
A Tokyo Marui Foliage Warrior hangs on a gun wall in the club room.
AMT Hardballer
An AMT Hardballer can be seen on a magazine that Sonora is reading in Episode 7.
Beretta Px4 Storm
Two Beretta Px4 Storms can be seen on the back of a Field Queen Contest poster.
Unknown Pistols
Revolvers
Colt M1873
In Yura's imagination in Episode 6, she and Sonora are wielding Colt M1873s, more commonly known as Single Action Armys, in a wild west shootout. Given that it's in Yura's imagination, the guns can be assumed to be authentic Colt M1873s and not one of the more modern clones.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
In the epilogue of Episode 5, Aoi is answering Moe and Akane's questions and one of the answers is a S&W Model 36.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
In the 24-hour tournament, one of Team Detective's members uses a S&W Model 19 as his main weapon.
Colt Python
A Colt Python can be seen hanging on one of the gun walls in the club room.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
During Honoka's briefing for the Rambo scenario in the first episode, the deputies are armed with S&W Model 10s. This is fitting, as this pistol did appear in First Blood.
Unknown Revolver
Shotguns
Benelli M3
A Benelli M3 shotgun can be seen in the background in Episode 9.
Submachine Guns
Vz. 61 Skorpion
Yura's new main weapon after Episode 3 is a Vz. 61 Skorpion. Sonora's mentor wields the very same Skorpion during a flashback scene in Episode 2. Yura buys a drum magazine for it in episode 7, which she uses in the 24 hour tournament.
FN P90
Karila Hatsuse uses a FN P90 as her main weapon.
M3A1 "Grease Gun"
Meisei Girl's Academy squad leader, Rin Haruna, uses an M3A1 as her main weapon. By process of elimination of the features found on the three airsoft M3 replicas (ICS, ARES, and S&T) Rin's is the S&T model. The ICS is a replica of the original M3, the ARES is an M3A1 but bizarrely also has the crank charging handle, and the S&T is a proper M3A1, but with a slightly longer than correct pistol grip (to fit its battery). Rin's lacks the crank and has the slightly longer pistol grip, making it the S&T.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
Members of Meisei Girl's Academy airsoft team under Rin's command are all equipped with identical Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs, fitted with red dot scopes, Gemtech Raptor-II suppressors, and 15-round magazines. The red dot sights are shown to have both night vision and zoom, which isn't terribly likely. The weapon seems to be standard issued as new recruits get them and are required to return them when they leave the club.
MAC-10
Aoi Seto uses a MAC-10, and a tournament competitor in episode 3 uses one with a suppressor.
MAC-11
Momoka Seto and Midori Seto use four MAC-11s each.
Uzi
Kinako from Team Seto uses two Uzis in Episode 5.
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
A tournament competitor is shown with a MP7A1 in Episode 3, and a few competitors in the 24H Tournament also have them as well.
Walther MPL
A tournament competitor wields what seems to be a Walther MPL in Episode 3.
M1A1 Thompson
A tournament competitor is shown firing his M1A1 Thompson in Episode 3. One competitor in the 24H tournament is also seen with a Thompson.
M1 Thompson
A M1 Thompson can be seen on a "Field Queen Contest" poster.
Assault Rifles
Steyr AUG A1
Sonora Kashima uses a Steyr AUG A1 as her main weapon.
Heckler & Koch G36KA2
Honoka Mutsu uses a Heckler & Koch G36KA2 as her main weapon. The A2 upgrades to the G36 are the replacement of the built-in red dot sight with a picatinny rail, a slightly different handguard made of aluminum that features attachment points for rails, and the shorter G36C stock. The Marui replica uses a standard stock instead of the C-length one, however most real G36A2s seem to still use the standard stock as well. Marui's G36KA2 also features SEF fire selector markings, which makes sense as a German Army rifle. Also worth noting is that another G36KA2 airsoft replica exists (made by VFC) which has identical features to the Marui, and it is officially licensed by Heckler & Koch, making this setup rather official.
AK-47
Rento Kirishima uses an AK-47 as her main weapon. Team Grizzly from Hokkaido in the 24h Tournament are all also equipped with AK-47s. Competitors going against Meisei are also equipped with AKs.
Howa Type 89-F
Yachiyo Hinata uses a Howa Type 89-F as her main weapon in games where her AWS would be impractical. While TM's replica comes standard with a bipod, Yachiyo has removed it from her rifle.
M4A1
Yura uses an M4A1 as her main weapon, she was first found playing with it while daydreaming in her room in Episode 1 and used it as her primary in Episode 2 and 3. Competitors in the first tournament and the 24H Tournament are also seen using M4A1s.
AKS-47
Daishichi Hamakaze of Team KGB uses a golden AKS-47 as his main weapon. These were limited production rifles made by airsoft manufacturer SRC.
TM AK47 Beta-Spetsnaz
Karila's twin brother Aila, of Team KGB, uses a Tokyo Marui AK47 Beta-Spetsnaz as his main weapon. Seira Yaguchi also uses a TM AK Beta without a stock in the "Field Queen Contest".
AKS-74U
A competitor can be seen with a AKS-74U without a stock in the tournament.
Heckler & Koch HK416
A competitor has a HK416 in the 24H Tournament. A HK416 can also be seen on a "Field Queen Contest" poster.
M16A1
An M16A1 can be seen on a gun rack in the club room. A competitor can be seen with a M16A1 as well in the 24H tournament.
M16
In Yura's imagination scene, a "Stella Regiment" member has an M16 aimed at the Stella club. The rifle clearly lacks a forward assist, and there is only one original M16 airsoft replica, a gas-powered rifle made by G&P; all other older-style M16 replicas are of the M16A1. Just like on real ones, the birdcage flash hider is an aftermarket part. Given how common it is for original M16s (or visually similar rifles) to be fitted with birdcage flash hiders, especially for film and TV, and that there is no airsoft replica of the M82A3 seen in the very next shot, it's highly likely that the animators used images of real rifles as reference for both of these guns, rather than airsoft versions.
FAMAS F1
A FAMAS F1 can be seen in the background of a scene in Episode 1 on a gun rack.
FN SCAR-L
A FN SCAR-L is seen on the back of a magazine Sonora is reading.
TM AUG A3 High Cycle
On the cover of the "Field Queen Contest" poster, a Tokyo Marui AUG Hich Cycle can be seen. The High cycle appears to be a hybrid of two variants of the AUG A3, with the external body of a Steyr AUG A3 9mm XS submachine gun while being chambered in 5.56 like a Steyr AUG A3. The AUG is the prize for the winner of the contest, along with free BBs for a year, while the other guns on the back of the poster are presumably prizes for second place and below. Being part of Tokyo Marui's "High Cycle" series, this rifle has a rate of fire of 1500 rounds per minute!
Battle Rifles
M1 Garand
During Yura's imagination scenes in Episode 5, the members of the C³ club are armed with M1 Garands.
M14
An M14 with a dark OD stock can be seen in Sonora's closet in Episode 1. A bunch of M14 with black stocks can also be seen coming out of a "Stella Regiment" locker in Episode 12.
FN SCAR-H
A FN SCAR-H can be seen in the background of a scene in Episode 1 on a gun rack. A tournament competitor in the 24H tournament also has a SCAR-H
Heckler & Koch G3A4
A H&K G3A4 can be seen in Sonora's closet in Episode 1. It is an A4 as TM's G3A3, seen above, has the green slimline handguard, while the G3/SG1 has a bipod.
Heckler & Koch G3A3
A H&K G3A3 can be seen hanging on a gun wall in Episode 6.
Machine Guns
M60
An M60 is C³ Club's support weapon, owned by Sonora. It makes a notable appearance in Episode 1, and is used by Rento as her primary in the 24H Tournament.
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Suppressed
Yachiyo Hinata uses an AWS as her usual primary weapon. In addition to the rifle itself, the Parker-Hale bipod, raised rail mount, medium-height scope rings, and 3-9x40 scope are all Tokyo Marui products.
M24 SWS
In Episode 1, Yura is seen "playing" with a M24 SWS on her back.
TM VSR-10
Hibiki Tsubaki and another competitor use TM VSR-10, which itself is a Remington M700 copy.
Barrett M82A3
A member of the "Stella Regiment" is armed with a Barrett M82A3. Distinguishable from other Barrett M82 variants by its raised accessory rail on top in combination with the rail stopping short of the front with a folding front sight, and lack of a rear sight. There is no airsoft replica of the M82A3; the only M82 series replicas are of the original M82A1 and the M107.
Heckler & Koch PSG-1
A Heckler & Koch PSG-1 can be seen in the background of a scene in Episode 1 on a gun rack, it stays there throughout the entire series. On the "Field Queen Contest" poster, a PSG-1 can be seen as well.
Others
RPG-7
In Episode 12, some members of the "Stella Regiment" are armed with RPG-7s when preparing to engage the C³ club.
