Captain America: The First Avenger (release date 7-22-2011)

Captain America: The First Avenger is the 2011 feature film adaptation of the Marvel comic book series directed by Joe Johnston (The Rocketeer). Chris Evans stars in the film as Steve Rogers, a young man who during the Second World War, desires to join the war effort, but is rejected due to his small size. He then volunteers to be part of a secret US program to create a genetically enhanced super soldier. The film is also part of the same Marvel film universe that includes Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Thor and will culminate in 2012's The Avengers.

The following weapons were used in the film Captain America: The First Avenger:

Colt M1911A1

The M1911A1 is used by both Captain America (Chris Evans) as well as by Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell).
