− | + | McKenna produces an AR-15 variant with a 14.5" barrel and a free-floating extended Keymod handguard from his home to combat the Predators and uses it for the remainder of the film. The handguard on the weapon appears to be a 15" Trinity Force Atlas Keymod rail. The weapon is fitted with tan furniture (including a flat dark earth Magpul AFG2 grip) and an Aimpoint CompM4 red-dot sight (which is portrayed - incorrectly - as a magnified reticle optic). While this rifle is apparently meant to portray a modern commercial semi-automatic AR-15-pattern carbine similar to those commonly owned by civilians in the United States, the weapon is shown to fire full-auto in the later scenes of the film. Props-wise, this weapon is most likely a select-fire Colt M4A1 that was retrofitted with a free-floating handguard and a low-profile gas block, being used as a stand-in for a civilian AR-15. (This same gun was used - albeit with black furniture - in Season 3 of ''[[Colony - Season 3|Colony]]''.) | |

The Predator is the 2018 installment in the Predator film series. For this sequel, Shane Black (who appeared as Hawkins in the original film) returns to the series to co-write and direct. The cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, and Jake Busey, who portrays the son of the character played by his real life father Gary Busey in 1990's Predator 2.
The following weapons were used in the film The Predator:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
A soldier is seen firing a Beretta 92FS during the lab attack. Both Baxley (Thomas Jane) and Coyle (Keegan-Michael Key) also use a Beretta 92FS. As Emily McKenna (Yvonne Strahovski) takes the rifle from the display case, a Beretta is seen as well.
Beretta Px4 Storm
Casey Brackett (Olivia Munn) briefly uses a Beretta Px4 Storm when confronting the Predators outside the school.
Colt Python
A Colt Python is seen in the hands of Lynch (Alfie Allen).
Para Ordnance Stealth S14-45 Limited
A Para Ordnance Stealth S14-45 is used by Nebraska Williams (Trevante Rhodes) when confronting the Predator dog. The Para Ordnance pistol from this film is likely the same one previously used in The A-Team and also Season 2 of Human Target.
FN FNP-45
Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) uses a tan FN FNP-45 throughout the film.
Glock 17
Quinn takes a Glock 17 from one of the operatives. A Glock is also carried by Will Traeger (Sterling K. Brown).
SIG-Sauer P226
Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) also carries a SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm at the beginning of the film. He briefly shows off this pistol in his waistband while in the bar.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is primarily used by Nettles (Augusto Aguilera). The MP5A3 is also used by McKenna and Brackett. The guns all have older S-E-F trigger groups.

Nebraska Williams (Trevante Rhodes) uses a CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1 throughout the film.
KRISS Vector
Coyle (Keegan-Michael Key) uses a KRISS Vector fitted with an EOTech 551 sight as his main weapon. At one point, he is also seen tossing one to McKenna and Brackett is seen with one as well.
Rifles/Carbines
Heckler & Koch G36K
Several operatives use Heckler & Koch G36K carbines fitted with flashlights.
L1A1
Lynch (Alfie Allen) uses an L1A1 with a cut-down barrel.
M4A1 Carbine
Several operatives and soldiers are seen using M4A1 Carbines. Casey Brackett (Olivia Munn) and Coyle (Keegan-Michael Key) also use M4A1s attached with Spike's Tactical Havoc Launchers. Military troops in the lab are armed with the M4A1 as well.
McKenna's Custom M4A1
McKenna produces an AR-15 variant with a 14.5" barrel and a free-floating extended Keymod handguard from his home to combat the Predators and uses it for the remainder of the film. (This same gun was used - albeit with black furniture - in Season 3 of Colony.)
NOTE: This weapon was previously mis-identified as a War Sport LVOA. It is not an LVOA - the weapon clearly has a standard mil-spec lower receiver group with no ambidextrous controls - one of the defining feature of War Sport's rifles.
Remington ACR
One of Will Traeger's operatives is armed with a Remington ACR.
Remington Model 700
A Remington Model 700 is seen taken from a display case in the home of the McKennas. Emily McKenna (Yvonne Strahovski) is seen giving the rifle to Quinn. This rifle also appears to be used by Lynch (Alfie Allen).
SIG SG 552
SIG SG 552s fitted with EOTech 551 sights and a Magpul AFG foregrip are used by several operatives. During its escape from the military lab, the Fugitive Predator takes one of these rifles and uses it to kill several guards.
Springfield M1A
Quinn McKenna is seen using a Springfield M1A with a JAE-100 G3 precision stock during a mission in Central America at the beginning of the film. He loses it during a confrontation with the Fugitive Predator.
Shotguns
Winchester Model 1300 Defender
McKenna takes what appears to be a Winchester Model 1300 Defender shotgun from a military guard and uses it while battling the Fugitive Predator. This shotgun is also seen in the hands of both Nebraska Williams (Trevante Rhodes) and Casey Brackett (Olivia Munn).
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
In a deleted scene, Nebraska Williams fires a Browning M2HB heavy machine gun.
Launchers
Spike's Tactical Havoc Launcher
Spike's Tactical Havoc Launchers are attached to M4A1s used by Casey Brackett (Olivia Munn) and Coyle (Keegan-Michael Key). Brackett notably uses the launcher to damage the Enhanced Predator's ship during the climax.
Milkor MGL
Nebraska uses a Milkor MGL during the fight with the Predator dog. The launcher is also used by McKenna.
