The Girl Hunters is a 1963 British adaptation of Mickey Spillane's 1962 novel of the same name. In an interesting twist, hard-boiled private investigator Mike Hammer is played by Spillane himself in his acting debut.
The following weapons were used in the film The Girl Hunters:
Colt M1911A1
Mike Hammer (Mickey Spillane) carries a Colt M1911A1, first illegally, then legally. He describes it as a "Colt Automatic, Caliber .45." According to Mickey Spillane, "this awful Spanish gun," most likely a Star Model B, was to stand in for the Colt, but real Colt M1911s were later provided by notorious London gangster Billy Hill.
World War II Colt M1911A1 Pistol - .45 ACP
Mike Hammer pulls out his M1911A1. As Captain Pat Chambers (Scott Peters) warns later, carrying this without a permit would've been a violation of the Sullivan Act, one of the nation's oldest gun control laws still in effect.
Spillane plays with his M1911A1. Note the lack of an external extractor, which means it is not an "awful Spanish gun" (Star Model B.)
Hammer ejects one round and forces "Skinny Guy" to eat it for the mistake of bringing an icepick to a gunfight.
Hammer decocks his M1911A1.
Hammer prepares to enter an apartment with his sidearm ready.
Colt Official Police
A security guard (uncredited) confronts Hammer with a Colt Official Police.

Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector Third Model
Hammer takes what appears to be a Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector Third Model off of Joe Grissi (Charles Farrell). He ejects all the rounds before giving it back to Grissi.
S&W .32 Hand Ejector Third Model
Hammer empties the Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector.
Hammer tucks the revolver into Grissi's jacket.
Walther P38
The Dragon (Larry Taylor) is armed with a Walther P38. The police however, describe it being chambered in ".32."

Double Barreled Shotgun
Hammer finds a Double Barreled Shotgun at the home of Laura Knapp (Shirley Eaton).

Hammer cleans out the clay from the muzzle of the shotgun. He describes in graphic detail what would happen had Laura tried firing with the barrels plugged like that.
